Alison (Ali) King - Managing Director

Alison (Ali) King is a Managing Director focusing on client origination and transaction execution. For the last few years, Ali worked in the Acquisitions Group at Thrasio, the largest aggregator of Amazon third party brands, where she was responsible for leading deal processes from initial outreach through analysis and negotiation. Backed by Silver Lake Partners and Advent Capital, Thrasio purchases and optimizes Amazon Third Party Sellers and DTC brands by enhancing advertising, creative, supply chain, search engine optimization (SEO), & channel diversification. Prior to Thrasio, Ali worked in the TCW Direct Lending group where she was responsible for the origination, structuring, due diligence, and monitoring of private credit investments ($10 million - $350 million) to non-sponsor and sponsor-backed middle-market companies. Ali started her career as a High Yield Research Analyst at BancBoston Robertson Stephens before transitioning to UBS Investment Bank, where she held numerous positions in the Leveraged Finance Group and was elevated to Executive Director. Ali also held positions at Harbinger Capital and MAST Capital during her career. Ali is a graduate of Colgate University and has held a variety of FINRA / NASD securities licenses. Ali recently moved back to Connecticut with her husband and is based in CMG's Southport headquarters.

For 10 years prior to joining CMG, Debbie was the Administrative Assistant and Event Coordinator at the Academy Group, an association management group that runs a number of M&A, capital and management trade associations, including National Association of Corporate Directors, Connecticut Hedge Fund Association, Connecticut Venture Group and the Association for Corporate Growth. Debbie attended the Connecticut Business Institute, and enjoys yoga, walking, gardening and reading.

Frank Morse - Managing Director

Frank Morse specializes in financial advisory services for mergers, acquisitions and divestitures as well as debt and equity financings. He has a broad finance background, having spent 35 years in the financial services industry before joining the firm. Prior to CMG, Frank was President and CEO of UST Bank in Connecticut and Executive Vice President for strategic planning for UST Corp, UST Bank's parent and the holding company for United States Trust Company (Boston). Frank has served on several industry related boards including the Connecticut Venture Group and the Crossroads Venture Fair. He served on the Portfolio Valuation Committee of Connecticut Innovations; a quasi-state agency focusing on private equity investments in Connecticut based technology companies. Other boards included CTech IncUBator at University of Bridgeport, Fletcher-Thompson, Inc, Intellisource, Inc and Bank of America's Fairfield County's Advisory Board. Frank has also been deeply involved in community affairs and is currently serving on the board of the Cultural Council of Indian River County, FL. Past not-for-profit involvements included St. Vincent's Medical Center (Swim-Across-the Sound), Junior Achievement (volunteer teacher), United Way of Eastern Fairfield County (board member) and Barnum Museum(Chairman). He recently retired from over 20 years of active participation with Jewish Senior Services in Bridgeport, CT (Jewish Home for the Elderly). His roles included Executive Committee, Finance Committee and Board Member. In 2020 Frank was awarded the Arthur & Gladys Lunin Humanitarian Award for "outstanding service to the community". Frank earned a BA from Trinity College and completed graduate studies at New York University Business School and Stonier Graduate School of Banking. He lives in Vero Beach, FL with his wife Nina and two dogs, Otis & Frances. Frank spends as much time as possible at his home in Rangeley, Maine.

The Bekaert Group is controlled by the Bekaert Family across four generations. Among his contributions to the field, Mr. de Visscher served as a director and president of the Family Firm Institute, (Boston, MA). He is the past Chairman of the European Family Office Conference, and a contributor to many publications, including Family Business Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, LA Times, NY Times and many others. Geoffrey Bradley - VP

Geoff Bradley is a Vice President at Carter Morse & Goodrich. Geoff plays an integral role in M&A transaction execution, valuation analyses and marketing initiatives. Jack Krichavsky, CPA, is the president of Almada Corp., a firm he founded to provide financial and strategic consulting services to both publicly and privately-held midsized companies. Jack has 40 years of experience specializing in working with growth-oriented, closely-held companies. In this capacity, he had overall responsibility for the firm's practice, serving clients in the technology, manufacturing and distribution industries. Jack played important roles in the founding of the Connecticut Technology Council and the Hartford Chapter of the Entrepreneurship Institute. He has been a board director of several non-profit organizations, and is a past chairman of the board of directors of the Hebrew Home & Hospital. Jack has a BA from Adelphi University with a degree in accounting and an MBA from the Wharton School of Finance, University of Pennsylvania with a degree in finance.

Michael Carter is the founding principal of Carter Morse & Goodrich where he serves as Managing Partner. He has been on the financial side of business from many perspectives: as a business founder, commercial lender, investment banker, board director, and business advisor. With a broad-based background in a myriad of industries, Michael is well acquainted with the special requirements of each business situation. As a seasoned investment banker, he has advised over 100 M&A and financing transactions. In addition to his work with private companies, Michael has worked with several public companies as a board member and advisor. Michael also serves as the Co-Lead on CMG's Fuel & Retail Convenience advisory team. Michael began his career in private industry in operations. Thereafter, he was a vice president at Chase Manhattan Bank responsible for middle-market commercial lending and corporate finance activities in New England. Michael has been a board director for World Business Capital, First International Bancorp, Command Security Corporation and Cannondale Corporation. Michael is a founding member and former board director of the Association for Corporate Growth, Connecticut Chapter. He served on Weston's Board of Finance for ten years. Michael joined the Fairchester board for National Federation for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE), a non for profit, dedicated to teaching inner city kids about starting their own business. His last position was the chapter's Vice Chairman. Michael founded Push for Entrepreneurship, an extreme push-up fundraiser where participants do push-ups for two hours. Since its founding over a $100,000 has been raised for teaching students from low income neighborhoods about innovation and entrepreneurship. Michael was the former President of Weston Little League and has been active in coaching youth sports teams in Weston, Connecticut. He founded Weston Sports Commission and served as President for ten year. He was honored by the Fairfield County Sports Commission as Weston's Sportsperson of the Year. Michael earned an MBA from Columbia University and a BA from the University of Rochester.

Ramsey W. Over the course of his career, Mr. Goodrich has advised on more than 100 transactions totaling more than $3.5 billion in value. Outside of the office, Mr. Goodrich is the current Chairman of the Exit Planning Exchange - TriState Region (2016 - Present), President of XPX Connecticut (XPX-CT) chapter (2014 - 2016) and Chairman Emeritus (2012 - Present) and Past President (2005-2011) of the Connecticut Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG-CT). Terence Hannafin

Terence Hannafin is a Partner at Carter Morse & Goodrich ("CMG") and has been advising shareholders of closely held and family-owned companies for more than 15 years to help them achieve their ‘once-in-a-lifetime' transaction. At CMG, Mr. Hannafin is responsible for leading the execution of transactions across a range of industries (with an emphasis on manufacturing, consumer products and business services) and directing business development initiatives. Prior to joining CMG, Mr. Hannafin was a Managing Director with de Visscher & Co. (a family business focused advisory and investment banking firm) and held various positions at American Express and Morgan Stanley. Mr. Hannafin is active in leading trade associations, serving on the Board of Directors of the Exit Planning Exchange - LI (2017 - Present) and the Board of Directors of the Long Island chapter of the Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors (2020 - Present). Mr. Hannafin holds a BS in Finance from Boston College where he was a member of its NCAA Division I football team.
