Scott Squire-Welsh

Scott joined the CASAIR team as Chief Engineer in 2019, bringing with him over 20 years' experience in aircraft maintenance. While working during his school holidays for Hazelton Airlines, Scott found his passion for maintaining the Metro II Aircraft. Scott went on to complete 6-years with Ansett Australia while gaining his Trade Certificate before spending the next 6-years with Regional Express. Here, Scott earned his first LAME rating and experience in both engine overhaul, rebuilding the Garrett 331 and heavy maintenance on the SAAB340. In 2009, Scott and his family moved to Western Australia where Scott joined Skippers Aviation where he spent the following 10-years, earning 5 more LAME ratings, specialising on the Metroliner.

Stuart's extensive flying experience in excess of 15,000 hours as Pilot in Command on various flight operations includes Corporate Charter, FIFO, Freight Charter, Search and Rescue operations and has significant experience in Remote area and Black hole operations.
