Alastair has over 30 years' experience of delivering complex change in both private and public sectors, with specific strengths in business strategy, governance, digital and technology implementations, as well as commercial negotiation and management. Camilla Moore

Catriona McAllister

Catriona is an experienced senior leader with extensive programme and project management practise, mainly in the sport and leisure sector. She joined CBO to lead their Jersey office, and previously held the role of CEO of Jersey Sport. Through various roles, Catriona has extensive experience designing and implementing corporate governance arrangements and managing special purpose and arm's length organisations, including: being Programme Director for the Government of Jersey, undertaking a major review of their Sports Facilities, as part of the CEO of Jersey Sports role, leading the development of Scotland's Performance Centre for Sport from the bid stage through construction and into operation, holding several senior roles managing large sport and leisure facilities and in sports development being seconded to Jersey's Contact Tracing Team at the height of the COVID-19 Pandemic, supporting the set-up of their operation and automation of the contact tracing process and development of the app. Catriona also has strong knowledge and experience in people planning, training, and developing large teams to drive improved customer service and revenue. David Palzeaird

David was recently the lead Business Analyst within a digital transformation for a client in the finance industry, alongside delivering services within insurance and utility companies. He also has experience of delivering the large-scale migration of clients and assets between systems, as well as regulatory and data management projects. David has managed the upgrade of a banking system for a large offshore bank over four jurisdictions, involving over 250 users and housing details of over 50,000 clients. He also has experience of delivering client-facing state-of-the art software, for example iOS apps, an internet banking website and a new client-onboarding system.

Director Ed Gowan has surpassed his £5,000 target by walking 111 miles around Guernsey, Alderney Sark and Herm. He completed the feat over four days, starting last Wednesday and completing the epic challenge on Saturday evening. The current total raised stands at £5,413. ‘It's absolutely wonderful to have surpassed our fundraising goal. Completing the challenge CBO director Ed Gowan's five-island walk will cover tougher terrain, as covid restrictions mean he will replace Jersey with a ‘Guernsey-Plus' day. He was due to cover 111 miles by walking each of the five Channel Islands at the end of this month. Ed, who hopes to raise £5,000 for the Priaulx Premature Baby Foundation, CBO director Ed Gowan will embark on a 111-mile walk later this month, covering each of the five Channel Islands. Ed, who hopes to raise £5,000 for the Priaulx Premature Baby Foundation, will set off in Jersey on 28th July, before heading to Sark, Herm and Alderney - finishing in Guernsey on 1st August. The Ed is a Director of CBO with a specialism in organisational consulting and strategy. Before moving to Guernsey, Ed accrued over 10 years' experience working in, or with, UK public sector bodies. In this time, Ed specialised in delivering change, including the One Barnet programme (a cross-cutting transformation programme that delivered over £100m in savings). Ed's experience also includes working as a Regional Partner and Care and Health Practice Lead for a management consultancy, where he worked with a number of UK councils to identify how digital technologies and eGovernment could be used improve public services. Since joining CBO in 2014, Ed has delivered a wide range of successful initiatives for a broad portfolio of private and public sector clients. This has included the creation and successful implementation of Target Operating Models, and the development of Portfolio and Project Management Offices for varied organisations. Ed has also led a range of projects for CBO, including: the development of business cases to deliver millions of pounds in savings for organisations; the procurement of key commercial partners; the implementation of business changes and new technologies; the ‘turnaround' of troubled projects. Finally, Ed provides a range of services for CBO's clients to develop their own staff's skills. This has included classroom-based training on project management and key business skills, coaching for managers taking up new and challenging roles, and facilitating group learning sessions and business planning sessions for managers.

Kate Gibson

Kate is a Senior Consultant whose diverse and impressive professional background brings experience of organisational change management, stakeholder engagement, business analysis and project management to her work at CBO. She has a strong research and publication background and uses her knowledge of organisational behaviour to enhance effectiveness across all aspects of her work. She holds a PhD in immunobiology, a first class honours degree in psychology and is currently studying an MSc in Organizational Psychology. In 2016 Kate relocated from the UK to Guernsey, having spent eight years with a global asset management firm in a consultant role supporting the Chief Operating Officer. There she scoped and delivered a wide range of technology, process and people transformations from inception to completion. Since moving to Guernsey, Kate initially worked in the public sector developing her people skills further in the area of clinical psychology and is now leveraging this in her work at CBO. Her CBO engagements span both the private and public sectors, and include consultancy work, as well as change and project manager roles. Kate has recently led the organisational change efforts for a Client Relationship Management (CRM) system upgrade project across six jurisdictions and eight practice areas for a leading global offshore law firm. Lisa's background includes working for a large multi-discipline company as an environment engineer/consultant and project manager. During these roles she honed many skills and gained a wealth of experience, including: Managing large environmental impact assessment projects for international oil and gas clients including in sensitive environments including offshore Azerbaijan, large pipeline projects in Europe and LNG facilities in Africa. Tom Callow

Thomas "Tom" was born on the Isle of Man and holds an Associate's Degree in Computer Science. He has a high level of technical expertise, garnered from a keen interest and extensive career in testing, monitoring and test strategy. He has previously held Business Analyst and Finance Analyst roles, so brings with him specific sector knowledge and great analytic skills. Tom has been involved in several successful projects, including: Setting up a global testing team. Acting as a Scrum lead for multiple teams to deliver value and projects on a fortnightly basis.
