A Chartered Project Professional and IoD Diploma holder with a wealth of client-side blue-chip experience as a purchaser of consulting services, Alastair became Chief Operating Officer of CBO in 2014 and set about building a company that focussed on quality and efficiency in order to reliably deliver the best possible outcomes for clients.
Alastair has over 30 years' experience of delivering complex change in both private and public sectors, with specific strengths in business strategy, governance, digital and technology implementations, as well as commercial negotiation and management.

His obvious passion for quality sees a great deal of his time consumed in active Quality Assurance work, both with the CBO team and with client resources, the net result of which can be seen in the overall quality of CBO's delivery and the success of client projects and programmes.
Alice is a Consultant, who specialises in providing project support services to our clients. After 10 years of working in the public sector focussing on project and programme management, Alice has been working as part of the CBO team for the past 3 years utilising her experience to provide valued support to our clients in delivering their projects.

Camilla is a Senior Consultant with a wide range of extensive experience in developing and implementing strategic plans, as well as leading change management initiatives across diverse business areas within both the private and public sectors.
Her experience includes leading the business governance and support team for a UK government department to deliver change management initiatives, including digital implementations and department restructures. In previous roles she also provided risk management consultancy services to major offshore infrastructure projects across Europe, and project managed complex construction projects.

Catriona is an experienced senior leader with extensive programme and project management practise, mainly in the sport and leisure sector. She joined CBO to lead their Jersey office, and previously held the role of CEO of Jersey Sport. Through various roles, Catriona has extensive experience designing and implementing corporate governance arrangements and managing special purpose and arm's length organisations, including:
being Programme Director for the Government of Jersey, undertaking a major review of their Sports Facilities, as part of the CEO of Jersey Sports role,
leading the development of Scotland's Performance Centre for Sport from the bid stage through construction and into operation,
holding several senior roles managing large sport and leisure facilities and in sports development
being seconded to Jersey's Contact Tracing Team at the height of the COVID-19 Pandemic, supporting the set-up of their operation and automation of the contact tracing process and development of the app.

David is an experienced Business Analyst and Project Manager with over 10 years of wide-ranging experience within public and private sectors. He holds an international diploma in Business Analysis and is our Senior Business Analyst leading the development of the Business Analysis service line for CBO, coordinating, quality-assuring and building our proposition.
David was recently the lead Business Analyst within a digital transformation for a client in the finance industry, alongside delivering services within insurance and utility companies. He also has experience of delivering the large-scale migration of clients and assets between systems, as well as regulatory and data management projects.
David has managed the upgrade of a banking system for a large offshore bank over four jurisdictions, involving over 250 users and housing details of over 50,000 clients. He also has experience of delivering client-facing state-of-the art software, for example iOS apps, an internet banking website and a new client-onboarding system.

Dom joined CBO Projects in September 2018 and is now a Director, with responsibility for leading the Consulting and Change Management service lines.
Dom is a qualified Project Manager with APM PMQ certification (2018) / Prince2 Practitioner (2009) and a qualified Change Manager with APMG Change Management Practitioner (2020).
Dom really enjoys working ‘client-side' as a trusted advisor to senior leadership teams, helping develop strategy, shape direction and support key decision-making to enable clients to deliver their transformation and achieve the desired outcomes.
Director Ed Gowan has surpassed his £5,000 target by walking 111 miles around Guernsey, Alderney Sark and Herm. He completed the feat over four days, starting last Wednesday and completing the epic challenge on Saturday evening. Ed is a Director of CBO with a specialism in organisational consulting and strategy.
Before moving to Guernsey, Ed accrued over 10 years' experience working in, or with, UK public sector bodies. In this time, Ed specialised in delivering change, including the One Barnet programme (a cross-cutting transformation programme that delivered over £100m in savings). Ed's experience also includes working as a Regional Partner and Care and Health Practice Lead for a management consultancy, where he worked with a number of UK councils to identify how digital technologies and eGovernment could be used improve public services.
Since joining CBO in 2014, Ed has delivered a wide range of successful initiatives for a broad portfolio of private and public sector clients. This has included the creation and successful implementation of Target Operating Models, and the development of Portfolio and Project Management Offices for varied organisations.
Ed has also led a range of projects for CBO, including:
the development of business cases to deliver millions of pounds in savings for organisations;
the procurement of key commercial partners;
the implementation of business changes and new technologies;
the ‘turnaround' of troubled projects.
Finally, Ed provides a range of services for CBO's clients to develop their own staff's skills. This has included classroom-based training on project management and key business skills, coaching for managers taking up new and challenging roles, and facilitating group learning sessions and business planning sessions for managers.

With five years of experience as a COO for a UK property company, Jason has a depth of experience in championing change within a fast-paced and dynamic business model. Kate is a Senior Consultant whose diverse and impressive professional background brings experience of organisational change management, stakeholder engagement, business analysis and project management to her work at CBO.
She has a strong research and publication background and uses her knowledge of organisational behaviour to enhance effectiveness across all aspects of her work. She holds a PhD in immunobiology, a first class honours degree in psychology and is currently studying an MSc in Organizational Psychology.
In 2016 Kate relocated from the UK to Guernsey, having spent eight years with a global asset management firm in a consultant role supporting the Chief Operating Officer. There she scoped and delivered a wide range of technology, process and people transformations from inception to completion. Since moving to Guernsey, Kate initially worked in the public sector developing her people skills further in the area of clinical psychology and is now leveraging this in her work at CBO.
Her CBO engagements span both the private and public sectors, and include consultancy work, as well as change and project manager roles. Kate has recently led the organisational change efforts for a Client Relationship Management (CRM) system upgrade project across six jurisdictions and eight practice areas for a leading global offshore law firm. With prior experience in board governance organisational change as well as defining and implementing cultural change, Kate is particularly interested in supporting clients with aspects of their culture and people strategies.
Katy is a practiced IT and Business Change professional, with prior experience leading multi-jurisdictional teams to deliver scalable and futureproof solutions.
Katy, who moved from the UK to Guernsey in 2020 and is operating primarily within the finance sector, has delivered on a range of projects and strategic initiatives, including:

Lisa is a Consultant who has an extensive history in Project Services and Management having run complex and sensitive projects for UK entities, across the globe.
Lisa's background includes working for a large multi-discipline company as an environment engineer/consultant and project manager. During these roles she honed many skills and gained a wealth of experience, including:
Managing large environmental impact assessment projects for international oil and gas clients including in sensitive environments including offshore Azerbaijan, large pipeline projects in Europe and LNG facilities in Africa.
Managing multinational projects involving numerous internal and external stakeholders, writing project proposal bids and schedule management.
Paying close attention to detail to identify and resolve issues with project progress and deliverables.
Successfully managing environmental consent support and environmental design compliance during project phases for a range of oil and gas projects.

Her strengths include areas such as programme management and financial and management controls. She is adept at leading and managing a project team and liaising with the client to identify potential issues, mitigate any impact and identify solutions.
Building and maintaining strong, trusted relationships are at the forefront of Lisa's skillset, bringing excellent communication, diligence and sensitivity to all CBO's clients.
Lydia is a Consultant with more than six years' experience working on organisational change and transformation projects. With experience across a range of projects and programmes, Lydia's skills combine project management, business analysis and change management.
Lydia takes a holistic approach to service design, considering the integration of processes, systems, infrastructure and people to create services that meet users' needs. She supports organisations to prepare for, implement and adapt to change, leading to the successful implementation of projects with lasting effects.
Recently, Lydia has delivered projects with a regulatory and compliance focus. This includes the implementation of Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) Operational Resilience rules within a Guernsey-based UK motor insurance company, as well as supporting a locally based fund and fiduciary company to deliver a project driven by GFSC regulatory requirements.
Prior to moving to Guernsey and formal project work in 2016, Lydia worked as an Account Manager in the electrical wholesale industry.

Born in the UK, he has a degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Oxford. Rudi's experience as a senior consultant translated into becoming our Head of Assurance. He has spent over 20 years in C-level executive roles within the financial industry. The last eight years have been spent as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Risk Officer of a subsidiary of an international private bank.
In this role Rudi managed and led a variety of teams such as banking operations and client service delivery, business change, operational risk management, credit and lending services, compliance, IT, operational tax and facilities.
Rudi recently performed a Business Model & Strategy Risk Assessment followed by the development and implementation of a Risk Management Framework. Susan Watson is a Senior Consultant at CBO with over 15 years' experience as a consultant providing business analysis, project management and related support to organisations.

Thomas "Tom" was born on the Isle of Man and holds an Associate's Degree in Computer Science. He has a high level of technical expertise, garnered from a keen interest and extensive career in testing, monitoring and test strategy. He has previously held Business Analyst and Finance Analyst roles, so brings with him specific sector knowledge and great analytic skills.
