Amanda Crawford is a Cato Bolam Associate and Survey Manager based at our Henderson office. Amanda has over 30 years of survey industry experience. Amanda is a Licensed Cadastral Surveyor and Registered Professional Surveyor with extensive cadastral, topographical, geodetic and engineering surveying experience on small and large-scale projects across the Auckland region with a strong technical cadastral background and understanding of survey principals' practice and associated legislation. She has played a lead role in managing the quality systems to ensure the delivery of fast, efficient and accurate surveying outputs. Amanda also has experience in the civil engineering field which gives her a good understanding of the whole life cycle of land development projects. Qualification: NZCLS, BSurv, Licensed Cadastral Surveyor, RPSurv, MS+SNZ

Bradley Mowat

David Hope

David Hope joined Cato Bolam as a Senior Engineer in 2020 and brings to our Manukau team a wealth of Engineering experience across almost 20 years in the Engineering field. He specialises in commercial, residential land development and infrastructure projects, with a skill set that includes stormwater and wastewater network design, flood assessment and stormwater treatment and project management. Debbie Tilley

Debbie Tilley is a Principal Planner at our Orewa office who has over 15 years of industry experience, including positions as Senior Consultant & Resource Planner, before becoming a Principal Planner at Cato Bolam in 2019. Debbie has a proven track record of efficient, effective, timely and accurate reporting and management skills with an emphasis placed on high standards of customer service and collaboration with clients. She has provided resource consent applications for clients in a wide range of areas including residential, rural, coastal, commercial, industrial, community land-use and subdivision, as a Senior Planner and Principal Planner for Cato Bolam. Prior to this she has also delivered consent applications involving the energy sector, infrastructure development, mining and industrial operations. Outside of work, Debbie enjoys spending time with her family exploring the great local beaches around the Hibiscus Coast, hiking, travelling around New Zealand and beyond and looking after her large collection of rescued animals. Jennifer Myers

Qualification: MArch (Sustainability), BArch, University of Auckland is a Project Manager based at our Orewa office. Jennifer is highly experienced with forming and managing multi-disciplinary teams to take projects from initial feasibility and master planning stages through to completion. She has worked on a wide range of projects including medium density social housing villages, education and community facilities, and commercial/private client developments. Jennifer liaises closely with clients throughout the entire process, keeping them well informed and providing project information in the format they need. She is skilled at managing staged multi-stakeholder projects, and finds particular satisfaction in working collaboratively with the project team to create a great end result. Outside of work Jennifer enjoys spending time with family and friends and enjoying Auckland's wonderful natural environment.

John Wisker

John Wisker is a highly experienced land development consultant with over 40 years' experience. He manages the company's Henderson office. John originally joined the company in 1981 and, after a period gaining experience overseas, returned to become a Cato Bolam Director in 1994. He has since taken a leading role in growing the company to being the organisation it is today. John is a Cato Bolam leader for large-scale urban subdivisions and developments. He has extensive experience in major subdivision and land developments and as a manager of complex, multi-disciplinary projects. He often fills the role of lead consultant and client contact on significant land development projects from initial feasibility, Resource Consent and engineering approval through the construction phase. He is a skilled manager of time and budget to achieve client objectives. John has a particular role in managing the company's busy workloads in Waiheke and other Hauraki Gulf Islands. John enjoys travelling overseas, especially to spend time in Southern France where he has a base in Aix en Provence. He also enjoys taking his launch out for fishing and scuba diving in the Bay of Islands.

Kaaren Joubert

is a qualified and very experienced planner, in both council and private consultancy roles. Her most recent position was as a Principal Specialist in Auckland Council's Resource Consents Department where her work has included a variety of high-profile projects and the provision of specialist planning advice on consenting matters, including the current intensification Plan Changes 78 -83. Kaaren has also been involved in preparing applications and managing master planning consenting processes for a range of land development and residential development projects. Having many years' experience in Auckland, including through giving evidence at hearings, Kaaren is a well-known and respected planner. In Kaaren's spare time she enjoys time with family and friends, keeping up her fitness and being in nature. Qualification: BT&RP (Hons) Pretoria University, Associate Member of New Zealand Planning Institute (AMNZPI)

Kylie Brayshaw

Mark Parker

Mark Parker has been a Cato Bolam Director since 2005 and has 20 years' experience as a qualified surveyor and project manager. He provides senior level advice to clients from Cato Bolam's Henderson office. Mark has particular skills in project management, feasibility planning, land transfer surveying and engineering design. He also has extensive experience in preparing contract documentation, calling for and letting of construction tenders and administering projects on site. Mark provides advice on and manages a wide range of urban and rural subdivision projects and has high level expertise on multi-unit residential, commercial and industrial developments and unit title subdivision. Mark is Cato Bolam's in-house technology expert and ensures our systems are always at the leading edge of innovation and efficiency. Outside work, Mark enjoys involving his two young children and wife in his many sporting interests including squash, tennis, mountain biking, BMX racing and snowboarding. Michelle is a highly experienced land development consultant and a Registered Professional Surveyor with 30 years' experience in residential, commercial and rural land development projects, including master planned communities.

Myles Goodwin

Myles Goodwin is a Director based in Cato Bolam's Orewa office and has been with the company since 2000. Myles has particular interest and expertise in wetland and bush restoration and assessment, and rural subdivision and development. Myles is the company's primary "go-to" professional on rural subdivision issues and innovative solutions. Myles has developed extensive knowledge of ecological systems and how they can be improved and protected through the process of subdivisional development. Having grown up and worked on beef and dairy farms, Myles has a good insight into the issues facing the farming industry. He has developed a great reputation for his success gaining approval for complicated rural subdivision consent applications and has also been involved in planning processes to improve District Plan rules relating to rural subdivision. Outside work, Myles enjoys working on his rural lifestyle block and time with his wife and young family.

Paul Kleynhans

Qualification: NZCE, BE(Env), Chartered Professional Engineer, Member of Engineering New Zealand (CMEngNZ) Paul Kleynhans is a Cato Bolam Associate and an Engineering Manager based at our Henderson office. Paul has more than 15 years' experience in civil engineering and is a Chartered Professional Engineer. He has a broad range of skills through all phases of a development and has designed and managed multimillion dollar land development projects with competing demands through effective communication and negotiation skills. He is able to multi task effectively and complete work within tight deadlines. Tasks include designing and managing engineering designs for various land development projects, project management, contract management, obtaining Council 224c and associated Engineering Compliance Acceptance Certificates, affected party consultation and carrying fiscal responsibility for projects.

Scott Lamason is a Senior Civil Engineer at our Orewa office. Scott has over 15 years' experience in Land Development Engineering in both the private and public sector. Outside of work, Scott is an aspiring Bonsai Artist and you'll often find him spending far too much time with small trees in pots, running an informal North Auckland Bonsai club from his home in Red Beach and being on the committee for the Auckland Bonsai Club. Scott is supported by a loving wife and two small boys, and is based in Red Beach, Whangaparāoa. Qualification: Diploma Civil Engineering, Bachelor of Engineering (Civil), Applied Diploma of Civil Engineering, Certified Engineering technician -Engineering New Zealand (CertEtn).

Simon Reiher

Director Simon Reiher is a Whangarei local and our staff have many years' experience and knowledge of the Whangarei area, and the wider region from Mangawhai north. Qualification: Chartered Member EngNZ, MS+SNZ, Registered Professional Surveyor, Licensed Cadastral Surveyor. Simon Reiher has been a Director since 2011 and manages Cato Bolam's Whangarei office. Simon is a skilled Registered Professional Surveyor and an expert civil engineer. He has confirmed independent professional engineering and urban design status with several local authorities. Simon has highly developed skills in development design and implementation. Combined with a sound business knowledge and extensive knowledge of land development processes, Simon has become valued for his advice and for achieving positive results on a wide range of urban and rural subdivisions and developments. Simon has developed a great reputation in the development community and continues to grow the company's resources and capability to serve that community. Simon is a strategic thinker who has a vital role within the company in ensuring we keep our eyes on the future. Simon is also active within the survey and engineering professions, having been awarded the Percy Dyett Award for best engineering project in 2003 and carrying out several roles within local NZIS and ENZ management teams. Simon is married to Robyn and they have four children who keep them constantly busy. He also finds time for gathering kai moana, playing around on diggers and sweeping up after builders for his personal land development projects.
