ALLAN FISHER

Allan joined Thompson & Associates in 2008 after nearly 40 years in secondary and higher education. As an educator, he honed his listening skills and abilities to lead others through complex, challenging situations. He finds great joy in working with and empowering others. After teaching high school for 10 years, Allan was a professor at Walla Walla University for twenty-eight years where he also served as Director of Estate Planning Services. He derives great joy from assisting individuals and families as they develop comprehensive estate plans that meet their goals of present and future security as well as facilitating their wishes for eventual wise distributions of their estates. Outside of work, Allan loves to fly airplanes. He has been an active pilot, flight instructor and mentor to students for fifty years logging over 8,000 hours in most types of flying machines. Allan volunteers for the local Christian Aid Society, the Humane Society and is active in his local church. He has been married to his wife, Donna, for 50 years. They have two daughters and two grandsons.

Eddie founded the unique Thompson & Associates process in 1996. As CEO of Thompson & Associates, Eddie provides leadership and direction to over 47 seasoned charitable estate planners with an inspiring sense of generosity, integrity and passion for helping others. By creating a unique values-based model at Thompson & Associates, Eddie and his team have established a way for people to dedicate the necessary time to consider important life decisions and to engage in thoughtful discussion that leads to optimal results for all. He has planned thousands of estates, which has generated billions of dollars to charity during his thirty plus years working with nonprofits. Eddie speaks to organizations from coast to coast on successful fundraising techniques, nonprofit management and charitable estate planning and has garnered many honors during his distinguished career. He credits his parents with shaping his personal and professional path; they were very poor, but very generous. In 2008, Eddie and President Cayce Powell founded sister company Gift Clarity. Gift Clarity helps nonprofits build stronger relationships with their supporters through their strategic planning services, while utilizing the power of data to concentrate efforts and incorporating cloud-based technology with its automated time management system. Eddie serves as the Chair of the Charitable Estate Planning Institute, a 501(c)(3) public charity offering top level education on charitable estate planning for development staff, gift planning officers and professional advisors. Eddie and a group of Thompson & Associates colleagues formed the Institute in 2012. He is also a Fellow in Charitable Estate Planning (FCEP) awarded by the Institute. A native of Florida, Eddie and his wife, Sheryl, have been married more than 40 years and have made Nashville their home. They have two sons, one daughter and four grandchildren. Eddie and his family are involved in many community organizations and their church. He is an instrument pilot with both land and seaplane ratings.

Jeremy learned about Thompson & Associates while in law school, and quickly decided that the company's unique service provided him with the best opportunity to use his degree in a manner that matched his personal values. He joined the company immediately after sitting for the bar exam. Each year, Jeremy plans and assists with hundreds of estates across the country. In addition, he has served on nonprofit boards and committees, assisting them with endowment building and planned giving. Jeremy and a group of Thompson & Associates colleagues formed the Charitable Estate Planning Institute in 2012, a 501(c)(3) public charity offering top level education on charitable estate planning for development staff, gift planning officers and professional advisors. Jeremy serves as the President, sits on the board and is a member of the annual faculty. He is also a Fellow in Charitable Estate Planning (FCEP) awarded by the Institute. At Thompson & Associates, Jeremy excels in relating complex legal and tax issues in a way that is clear to individuals so they can make informed decisions about their estate and legacy planning goals. With an enthusiasm for philanthropy, he believes the best part of his job is helping individuals achieve their dreams making a difference in others' lives, now and beyond their time on Earth. Jeremy has a passion for sports, which he's passed onto his four children. He spends most of his time outside of work traveling from ballfield to ballfield, while enjoying the occasional trip to the beach. They are also active in their church and local community.

Johni is an accomplished writer, having been quoted in the Wall Street Journal and publishing estate planning articles in numerous publications like Planned Giving Today, Estate Planning Magazine, Fundraising Success, Life Insurance Selling and the National Underwriter. Additionally, she is the author of the book, Essentials of Annuities and co-author of the book, The Tools and Techniques of Charitable Planning. She also serves as a charitable planning author of Steve Leimberg's electronic newsletter service, LISI, found at www.leimbergservices.com. Johni served as the President of the Charitable Estate Planning Institute from 2012 and retired in 2016. She and a group of Thompson & Associates colleagues formed the Institute in 2012, as a means for estate planning professionals from across the country to gather annually to discuss advanced topics specifically geared towards estate planning.
