In 1988, Creative Community Services opened its doors to a new type of client -Georgia's most vulnerable children. Up to this point kids throughout the state of Georgia with severe mental health concerns had three options: be transferred to another state, psychiatric care facility, or homelessness, because no community-based program existed in Georgia that understood their needs.
