Matt Jackson is a CPA who has over sixteen years of accounting and financial management experience serving a variety of business structures and industries. He began his career in public accounting providing audit services to clients in the retail, manufacturing, and real estate sectors. After leaving public accounting, Matt held several positions for large Charlotte-based corporations optimizing their financial reporting and providing financial modeling and forecasting tools to augment strategic planning initiatives. His most recent position was the lead financial executive in a successful, high-growth professional services firm, which tripled in size during his six years with the firm through means of organic growth and multiple acquisitions. Matt is well-versed in providing financial awareness and direction to business leaders and stakeholders, growing strong relationships with key business partners, and building smart financial systems to optimize efforts to maximize profit and optimize entity value. Matt is a native to North Carolina and is a graduate of East Carolina University where he holds a Master's in Accounting. A father of four, Matt and his wife, Lauren, are an active outdoor family and enjoy as much time as possible in the beautiful western Carolinas.
