CENTRE SKY ARCHITECTURE - Key Persons

Jamie Daugaard

Job Titles:
  • Architect
  • Principal
Jamie Daugaard, Principal Architect, envisioned Centre Sky Architecture while earning his Master's Degree in Architecture from Montana State University. The concept of "Centre Sky" revolves around theoretical underpinnings of Native American Architecture: devising an approach in which site and architecture become one. Jamie continues to apply this theory to all projects - from planning and innovative design to sustainability and construction methods. Jamie holds certification with the American Institute of Architects (AIA), National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), and is a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP).

Mountain Living

Mountain Living magazine has placed Centre Sky Architecture on their List of Top Architects and Designers for Bozeman and Big Sky, Montana for the past 10 years. Currently, we are working on two ranch properties in the Bozeman/Livingston area, Trail Creek Ranch and Big 5 Ranch.

MOUNTAIN PEAK

Gracing the cover of Mountain Living Magazine in 2018, you will find another Centre Sky Architecture residence, Mountain Peak. Mountain Peak is a mountain modern residence located in the private community of Yellowstone Club. Drawing inspiration from the surrounding natural elements of the West, this home has incorporated the architectural design elements of stone, metal, and rustic wood to receive Kolbe's 2018 Home of the Year title.

PEERS HOMESTEAD

Several of CSA's Big Sky architectural projects have received national attention and acknowledgement. The Peers Homestead, located in the mountain community of Spanish Peaks, has been featured in magazines such as Mountain Living (Mountain Living Top 15 Mountain Homes 2018), Big Sky Journal, and Western Art and Architecture. Peers Homestead is an architectural project which incorporates both rustic design with modern building materials for an aesthetically pleasing custom residence.
