Blake Mortensen Sheridan

Job Titles:

I was born and raised in Sheridan Wyoming and am a 6th generation Sheridanite. I grew up in this wonderful small town with all it's natural beauty . I have worked in property management for over ten years and decided to become a realtor to help people with both the buying and selling of their properties to make their experiences easier and enjoyable. Just because I grew up in a small town doesn't mean I'm a small town guy. I love to travel and have been to 45 states and 20 different countries and plan on many more , however I love our small town and I wouldn't want to live or raise my son anywhere else . I am a single father, my son and I love spending time in the mountains either hiking, four wheeling or spotting for elk . My hobbies include collecting coins ,playing pool, bowling and going on walks and hikes. I plan to take a walk down every street in Sheridan by the end of 2021.

Joe Steger Sheridan

Job Titles:
  • Sales Associate, Montana Sales Associate
I relocated to Sheridan nine years ago to re-establish myself within the culture that I was most accustomed to and to which embodied my ancestral roots. I love to hunt and fish and enjoy the stunning natural resources provided in north central Wyoming. I have a beautiful and supportive wife and two kids who also provide much joy and happiness in my life. Upon returning to Sheridan, I was employed with Sanjel, Inc., an oil and gas services company and became one of its youngest supervisors. Notwithstanding my success in this endeavor, I wanted to return to a vocation where I could provide assistance to potential buyers and sellers of real estate and utilize my natural "people skills". To that end, I am fulfilling my ambitions.

John Baggett Sheridan

Job Titles:
  • Sales Associates
My first Wyoming experience was when I was 12 years old on a deer hunting trip near Arvada Wy. I remember my Dad saying "I'm going to live here someday". My family moved from Miami Fla to Wheatland Wy in 1976 when I was 15. At 16 I took a job as a hand on a ranch near Medicine Bow Wy. I learned then as I know now, folks are different here. They're open, friendly, generous, respectful and they work hard! In 1979 my father (John Sr.) became the Principal at Big Horn High School and my family moved here that summer. In 1981 I went to work for KROE Radio in Sheridan. That turned into a 42 year media career. In 1984 I moved on to KOWB/KCGY in Laramie, then KFBC/KFBQ in Cheyenne, then KOA radio, 103.5 The Fox, Broncos, Rockies, CU Buffs radio networks as well as KNUS Radio in Denver. I met "Miss Right", my wife Deb, a coed at UW in Laramie. We were married in June of 1988…35+ years later we're still going strong! We raised two boys that are now tremendous young men. The time spent with my family in the Big Horns helped me convince Deb in November of 2019 that Sheridan is where we should live out the rest of our days. We love to ride, hike, explore, hunt and fish. We love our Church, our neighbors and the many friends we've made. Thank God we're home! As of January 1, 2024, I am a licensed real estate agent with CENTURY 21 BHJ Realty, Inc., the same folks that helped us buy our home and cabin. We know personally the level of professionalism this organization offers and I'm determined to live up to those standards. I am at your service to help you make your Wyoming real estate dreams a reality.

Kelly Greenough Sheridan

Job Titles:
  • Sales Associate
A Sheridan native, Kelly was raised on ranches as a true throwback to her late aunts, Alice and Marge Greenough, who broke horses as kids and left home young to launch Hall-of-Fame careers as performers in rodeos, Wild West shows and in Hollywood in the early 20th century. Alice Greenough Orr is considered the first rodeo queen in American history, and Kelly followed in her footsteps as a Wyoming queen, as well. She kept her Western heritage alive in Arizona, where she moved as a young woman and sold real estate for 24 years, including finding and selling many horse facilities for snowbirds from the north. Kelly knows what folks need and want in their primary or second home, and has the experience to find it - as well as help clients sell nicely when they're ready to upgrade or move away. After too long away from Wyoming, Kelly is back with her husband and teenaged son, who loves to play all sports and to cowboy, too. Her dozens of local friends are ecstatic she's come home. At the same time, her extended time in the Phoenix area gave her invaluable insights into real estate markets both urban and rural, and throughout various economic cycles. Here in Sheridan, she never lost many of her connections to the land and her rodeo roots, and her contacts in this area are second to none. Kelly applies her cowgirl work ethic and Western hospitality to all her relationships with clients, along with congeniality and a strong dose of realism that lets you know you can trust her. Kelly's empathy and enthusiasm for helping people dovetails nicely with her industry experience and knowledge, and she knows this part of Wyoming like the back of her hand. Basically, she still rides for a brand that's a mix of determination, good taste, thoughtfulness and integrity - which makes her the answer for anything you need around northern Wyoming.

After completing my associate degree in Sheridan, I went on to earn my bachelor's degree at the University of Wyoming and then a master's degree at Montana State University-Billings. I met my loving wife Lisa while we were in college in Sheridan and we have been married for 32 years. We have raised two children, Shelby and Logan, who are now grown and writing their own personal success stories in the Sheridan area. After rodeoing professionally for a few years, I began my 30-year career at Sheridan College as the Rodeo Coach. I went on to become the Director of Admissions, Director of Enrollment Services, and Director of Admissions Services for 22 years. In 2014, I took the reins as the Director of College Services, overseeing food services, bookstores, and conferencing for Sheridan and Gillette College, as well as managing the indoor equine facility.
