CFGA LAW

Founded in 1981 by Dr. Wl. Mouchtaris, professor of law at Athens Law School and the Hamburg Law School in Germany, CFG&A established early on a solid professional relationship with the German clientele. Serving for several years as legal counsel of the Deutscher Ring Insurance Group and as president of the Greek Minority Federation in Germany, being a founding member of European Advertising Lawyers Association and a member of the Heidelberg Institute for International Conflict Research, Dr. Wl. Mouchtaris has had a significant impact on established precedents by the Greek High Court, such as the unanimous ruling allowing for tort damages to foreign individuals to be paid at the currency exchange rate of the payment date. He has been honored for his services with the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany (Bundesverdienstkreuz). Before retiring in 1999, he authored several legal articles published in Greek and German Law Reviews, and was a speaker in important Insurance Law..
