Nancy Chalex, Ed.D. has over thirty years of experience as a teacher, building principal, and literacy consultant. She has taught at all levels from early childhood classes to graduate level courses and is particularly interested in professional development that improves teachers' impact on children's literacy acquisition. Under Nancy's dynamic leadership, Thomas Jefferson School located in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, was recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence in 2000-2001 and was a host school for ASQ Koalaty Kid International visit in April 2002.
