Achille Alipour focuses his practice on first- and third-party complex insurance coverage matters, representing insurance carriers, third-party administrators and large self-insured businesses throughout New Jersey and New York. He is accomplished in evaluating policy coverage language and establishing litigation strategies that effectuate positive outcomes, remain cost-effective and minimize risk. In addition, Achille has experience handling regulatory matters and bad faith litigation.
Achille is well versed at litigating matters at all stages from initial claim, through to trial and appeal. He regularly appears in state and federal courts in New Jersey and New York.
During law school, Achille was treasurer of the Student Bar Association and received honors from the Rutgers Constitutional Litigation Clinic. He also participated in the International Chamber of Commerce Mediation Team and Nathan Baker Mock Trial Team. Following law school, he clerked for the Honorable Justine A. Niccolai in the Superior Court of New Jersey

Adam Konopka is a Partner in Chartwell Law's Chicago office. Adam bases his successful representation of transportation clients on his deep understanding of the transportation industry. He has extensive experience guiding clients through catastrophic losses, from emergency responses through subsequent litigations. Adam represents trucking clients in all types of commercial and contract disputes.
Adam is a frequent speaker at transportation industry events who serves in multiple leadership roles in legal and trade organizations. As a first-generation American citizen, he is committed to zealously representing his clients with the determination he learned from his immigrant parents.
Before joining Chartwell Law, Adam was of counsel in the Chicago office of a regional law firm and partner at a well-respected trucking defense law firm.
Alan Wolfson focuses his practice on the representation of defendants in personal injury, premises liability, insurance defense, motor vehicle accidents and workers' compensation.
Alan has successfully defended insured and self-insured individuals and entities in civil litigation and workers' compensation matters. He often represents large retail establishments in premises liability and workers' compensation matters.
A frequent lecturer, Alan has presented to numerous insurance companies and employers concerning various significant workers' compensation issues.
Prior to joining the firm, Alan was a partner at a Pittsburgh law firm focusing on workers' compensation matters.
James R. Myers has a diverse practice, focusing on construction defect claims, insurance claim disputes and coverage analysis, and real estate errors and omissions.

James represents general contractors, subcontractor trades, developers, design professionals, and product manufacturers in complex, multi-party construction litigation. He litigated and ultimately achieved a favorable settlement in what was at that time, the largest construction defect lawsuit pending in the State of Florida. For over a decade, James has successfully defended real estate professionals throughout Florida and has remained his clients' sole appointed defense counsel for the entire state of Florida.
James spent his first seven years in practice with a 125-lawyer multi-state corporate firm, where he obtained a broad-based litigation background in areas including real property, eminent domain, construction, commercial and residential foreclosures, contract and commercial tort disputes, landlord and tenant litigation, and condominium and homeowners association law.
James is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit and county court civil mediator, and Florida Supreme Court qualified arbitrator. His practice also includes commercial contract disputes, product liability, premises liability, and personal injury claims in Florida federal and state courts.
James graduated from Saint Louis University School of Law, graduating cum laude, ranking 13th in his class of 228. While in law school, he became a member of the Order of the Woolsack (Jesuit school equivalent to Order of the Coif), was inducted into Alpha Sigma Nu National Jesuit Honor Society, and served as Executive Editor of the St. Louis University Law Journal. James graduated from Purdue University with a B.S. in Industrial Management.
Before law school, James spent seven years as a property and casualty insurance professional in Harleysville, Pennsylvania. During that time, he achieved both the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriters (CPCU) and the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) professional designations. His achievement of those professional designations, as well as the advancement of his knowledge from his background in the insurance industry, have benefitted him in his ability to analyze and advise on matters relating to insurance coverage.
Jessica A. Teitelbaum concentrates her practice on civil litigation, defending construction-related claims on behalf of developers, general contractors, subcontractor trades, design professionals, and product manufacturers.

Ms. Teitelbaum's practice includes defense of construction defect, property damage, and contract-based claims in Florida federal and state courts. She has also defended, to complete victory via summary judgment, a variety of federal flood insurance claims in Florida. Ms. Teitelbaum is a Florida Supreme Court Qualified Arbitrator and a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil mediator.
Ms. Teitelbaum earned her Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of Florida, where she graduated 8th in her undergraduate class (top 1%), with high honors, and in law school achieved membership in Phi Delta Phi International Legal Fraternity, which requires academic honors for admission in Florida. She was awarded the University of Florida Presidential Recognition for outstanding achievement and contributions to the University. She achieved membership in Beta Gamma Sigma, the accredited business school equivalent to the liberal arts and sciences honor society, Phi Beta Kappa. She earned membership in the Golden Key National Honor Society, and was elected to and served on the University of Florida Student Honor Court as an Associate Justice and served as Proctoring Committee Chair.

John Winter focuses his practice on creditors' rights, commercial lending, foreclosure and bankruptcy, lender liability defense, real-estate, zoning, corporate formation and governance, and commercial litigation.
John Winter focuses his practice on creditors' rights, commercial lending, foreclosure and bankruptcy, lender liability defense, real-estate, zoning, corporate formation and governance, and commercial litigation.
Mr. Winter has represented lenders, including government-guaranteed lenders, as well as factors and portfolio investors, in connection with documenting and closing commercial loans, working out and collecting defaulted loans and factoring agreements, recovering and liquidating collateral, and handling environmental and title issues. He has also represented commercial landlords and tenants through lease negotiations and enforcement actions, condominium developers, as well as buyers and sellers of business assets. Mr. Winter helps his clients by being sensitive to their goals and objectives, building consensus with parties in interest, and working to maximize results while controlling costs.
Mr. Winter has successfully defended lender liability claims under Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, Truth in Lending Act, Equal Credit Opportunity Act, and related consumer protection statutes. Mr. Winter has represented banks, commercial factors and trade creditors in connection with secured lending, loan documentation, and loan liquidations, as well as bankruptcy matters, including: stay relief, cash collateral and adequate protection issues; post-petition transactions, debtor-in-possession financing, asset sales, assumption/rejection of executory contracts; claims litigation; creditors' committee formation and governance; professional retention and compensation; objections to exemptions and discharge; avoidance and turnover actions; plan disclosure, solicitation and confirmation issues.
Mr. Winter serves as partner and chairman of the creditors' rights department at Chartwell Law. In addition to experience in lender liability, Mr. Winter has a broad history in recovery and liquidation of collateral, through replevin, attachment and garnishment. He also has notable experience in reviewing and negotiating commercial real estate leases.
As an author, Mr. Winter published the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act in Pennsylvania and the New Jersey Collection Law for the National Business Institute. In addition, he authored, "Commercial Loan Documentation in Pennsylvania; and Construction Contracts" for Lorman Education Services.
Mr. Winter has been an active board member for the Providence Animal Center from 2009-2018 and has served on the building committee. In his free time, Mr. Winter enjoys photography and cycling.

Robert Murtaugh focuses his practice on creditors' rights, bankruptcy and litigation. He primarily represents commercial lenders, including banks and debt service purchasers, as well as businesses with unpaid invoices.
Robert Murtaugh focuses his practice on creditors' rights, bankruptcy and litigation. He primarily represents commercial lenders, including banks and debt service purchasers, as well as businesses with unpaid invoices.
Mr. Murtaugh helps his clients by collecting a large portion of their commercial debt and by representing them through the bankruptcy process to maximize their recovery.
Recently, Mr. Murtaugh has obtained full recovery of debt for a vendor in the Delaware Bankruptcy Court by having them named as a critical vendor and avoiding claw back by the trustee. Mr. Murtaugh discovers and executes assets of debtors to obtain the maximum recovery on the debts.
Robert began his legal career in Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania, concentrating in real estate transactions, loan documentation and mortgage foreclosure. He later expanded his focus into all aspects of creditors' rights and bankruptcy, routinely engaging in the workout and recovery phases of delinquent and non-performing loans. Thereafter, Mr. Murtaugh became a partner with a prominent law firm in Philadelphia where he gained extensive experience representing lenders in commercial collection matters and defending lender liability actions.
Mr. Murtaugh was appointed as counsel to the Institutional Review Board of St. Luke's Hospital in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and has been a member from 2007 to the present. He has lectured across the country for such organizations as the National Association of Fleet Administrators and the Electric Utilities Fleet Managers Conference on the topics of Negligent Entrustment and Vicarious Liability.
Mr. Murtaugh is also the treasurer of Southern Lehigh High School's Baseball Booster Club and has raised over $10,000 for the Miracle League and Dream Come True.
