Following the implementation of Check 21, the Check Image Collaborative industry group was formed. The Check Image Collaborative developed CheckImage Central as a vehicle to share information on Check 21, the creation of substitute checks and image implementation. The website provided much value during the transition to full image exchange. While the Check Image Collaborative is long gone, this website still brings value to the check industry.
