Obtained professional engineering license in the state of Pennsylvania in 1997. Active in the Home Builders Association Chester and Delaware County Chapter

Andrew M. DeFonzo

Andrew M. DeFonzo, P.E. holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Drexel University (2000) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Andrew began his engineering career in Baltimore, Maryland working in the ports and harbors sector and then shifted to commercial and residential land development after joining D.L. Howell & Associates, Inc. He is a partner with HowellKline Surveying, L.L.C. and is a registered Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland and New Jersey. In his short time at D.L. Howell, he has designed and overseen numerous land development projects ranging from small commercial sites to 400+ lot subdivisions.

Denny L. Howell, II

Denny L. Howell, II P.E. holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Drexel University (1993) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Denny has worked his entire career in Chester County having grown up there as well. He is President and Owner of D.L. Howell and Associates, Inc. and a partner in Howell Kline Surveying, LLC. He is registered Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware and North Carolina. His firm has designed over 1000 projects in and around Chester County.

Jeremy R. Maziarz

Jeremy R. Maziarz, PE holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Drexel University (1991) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Jeremy is a Senior Project Manager at Chester Valley Engineers and has 18 years of civil engineering design and management experience. Jeremy is a registered Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware and has designed and managed numerous residential, commercial, industrial, institutional and retail land development projects.

Nathan M. Cline

Nathan M. Cline, PE, serves as Associate Vice President and is Office Director for Pennoni Associates' West Chester, PA office. Nate earned a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Villanova University and a Master of Science degree in engineering management from Drexel University. He is a registered professional engineer and completed Chester County's Master Planner Program in 2012. Nate was the recipient of Chester County Engineer's "Promise Award," in 2013 and he was awarded the "Young Engineer of the Year" award by the Pennsylvania Society of Professional Engineer's Delaware County chapter in 2010.

P.J. Close

P.J. Close, P.E. holds a degree in Civil Engineering from University of Delaware (1986) in Newark, Delaware. P.J. has been a Principal of Kelly & Close Engineers since 2006. He has been a registered Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania since 1991 and is an active member of NSPE, PSPE and the Home Builders Association of Delaware & Chester County. P.J. has overseen numerous Residential, Commercial and Institutional Projects in Delaware, Chester and Montgomery County since the early 1990's. P.J. has also been Engineer of Aldan Borough, Delaware County since 2000.

Work includes site analysis, site design, project coordination, permit acquisition, construction monitoring, floodplain analysis, hydraulic and hydrologic analysis, erosion and sediment control design and other aspects of land development & subdivision.
