Ms. Dietrich is the President of ATI Ambulance and Vice President of Business Development for Chicago Ambulance Alliance. She joined the CFHC Board of Directors in 2023.

Cheryl A. Briscoe

Ms. Briscoe served as Senior Leadership Administrator at Accenture LLC, Strategic Services, before her retirement. She joined the CFHC Board of Directors in 2018. I was a CFHC patient and appreciate the hard work and dedication of this organization. I have served on other boards but find CFHC is professional and thorough, and this was my opportunity to give back.

Fulton Nolen

Mr. Nolen is the former Principal of Robert Lindbolm College Preparatory High School in Chicago and has had an expansive career in education that spans more than 40 years. He joined the CFHC Board of Directors in 2014.

James Simmons

Mr. Simmons is a retired Electrical Engineer. Prior to his retirement, he worked as an Engineer at Exelon Corporation. He joined the CFHC Board of Directors in 1997. "I believe that serving on this Board provides me the opportunity to give back to the community in any way I can."

Kevin McGhee

Mr. McGhee serves as Senior Director of Data Management at Marillac St. Vincent Family Services in Chicago. He joined the CFHC Board of Directors in 2023.

Latasha Kelley

Latasha Kelley joined CFHC in May 2022 with an expansive background in Human Resources and Healthcare Administration that spans more than 15 years. Prior to joining CFHC she served as Senior Director of People & Culture at Adler University in Chicago and Human Resources Manager at Family Guidance Centers, a substance use treatment facility, also in Chicago. As Director of Human Resources, Latasha is responsible for providing strategic guidance and leadership for all aspects of the human resources function and establishing a vision for HR operations, policies and services including but not limited to succession planning, workforce development, talent acquisition and management, performance and change management, diversity, inclusion and equity, employee and labor relations and compensation and benefits with a holistic approach. Ms. Kelley received her Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Concordia University and her dual degree of Master of Business in Administration and Healthcare Administration with a concentration in Human Resources Management.

Lisa LoBianco - COO

Lisa LoBianco joined CFHC in June 2022 as Director of Operations and transitioned into the Chief Operating Officer in October of the same year. She has an expansive career in public health that spans more than 15 years. Prior to joining CFHC she served as Ambulatory Clinic Manager at Cook County Health, Director of Health Center Operations at Erie Family Health Center in Evanston, IL, Operations Manager at Lawndale Christian Health Center in Chicago, and as Program Supervisor at Illinois Action for Children also in Chicago. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Roosevelt University and is in the process of completing a Community Health Center Executive Fellowship from the University of Kansas.

Lyleth Rodriguez - President

Ms. Rodriguez is the president of a local food pantry on the South Side of Chicago. She has been an active member of her community for many years and served as a foster parent to many. She joined the CFHC Board of Directors in 1983.

Ms. Peavy serves as Senior Counsel at BMO Bank, N.A. and her expertise includes legal and compliance services. She joined the CFHC Board of Directors in 2023.

Melissa Duplantis

Job Titles:
  • Chief Behavioral Health Officer
Melissa Duplantis joined CFHC in July 2015 as the Director of Behavioral Health and eventually became Chief Behavioral Health Officer for the organization. In this role, Dr. Duplantis is developing the service line and infrastructure for integrated primary care-behavioral health services at CFHC. As part of this process, she is responsible for developing combined care protocols and procedures to meet the behavioral health needs of all CFHC patients. In addition, Dr. Duplantis supervises the functions of all behavioral health therapists across five health center sites and serves half-time as a behavioral health provider herself. Prior to coming to CFHC, Dr. Duplantis was the Director of Integrated Care Services at Pillars. In this position, she oversaw two integrated care programs that provided comprehensive health service to underserved communities. Melissa Duplantis joined CFHC in July 2015 as the Director of Behavioral Health. In this new role, Dr. Duplantis is developing the service line and infrastructure for integrated primary care-behavioral health services at CFHC.

Nick Valadez - Chairman

Mr. Valadez is a practicing lawyer who currently serves as Village Attorney for the Village of Midlothian, IL. He specializes in law, organizational management, and governance. He joined the CFHC Board of Directors in 1992. Healthcare is essential for all human beings. I believe access to healthcare should be a universal, basic human right available to all, regardless of status, or ability to pay.

Fr. Brummel has served on the Board of Directors at CFHC since the clinic opened in 1977. He served as Treasurer for The Claretians until he retired in 2017. I continue to serve on this Board because I want to advocate for the health and well-being of our South Chicago communities.

Roy Carlton - CFO

Roy Carlton joined Chicago Family Health Center in 2023 as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In this role, Mr. Carlton heads various financial functions within the organization such as revenue cycle, treasury, audit, grants management, accounting, budget, financial planning, internal controls, and analytical functions. He has a diversified background honed with medical finance, cross-functional leadership, and proven results that spans almost 30 years. Prior to joining the CFHC team Mr. Carlton served as CFO for Central Florida Family Health Centers in Sanford, Florida; CFO/VP of Palm Vascular & Allergy, Certified Foot and Ankle in Florida, New York, and Texas; and CFO/CIO at Legacy Physiatry in Dallas, TX and Boca Raton, FL. He received his BA in Accounting and Computer Science from DePaul University in Chicago, IL and Masters of Accounting and CPA review from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Mr. Carlton began his career as Director of Finance at Blue Cap School and Community Agency in Blue Island IL.

Sherry Pace - CEO

Sherry Pace, MBA was named Chief Executive Officer at Chicago Family Health Center in July 2022. Ms. Pace manages an annual operating budget of $30 million and oversees more than 250 clinical, administrative and support staff across six health center sites. Before accepting the CEO position, Ms. Pace was the Chief Operating Officer at CFHC and prior to joining the organization she served in numerous senior leadership roles during her more than 30-year career in healthcare, including Chief Operating Officer at Hamilton Community Health Network, Inc. an FQHC in Flint, Michigan and as Administrator for the Divisions of Internal Medicine & Endocrinology at the University Hospitals of Cleveland. Ms. Pace received her undergraduate degree in Health Administration from Ohio University and her MBA from Eastern Michigan University.
