CHRISTIAN CENTER PITTSFIELD

The Christian Center is the oldest nonprofit human service organization in the Berkshires. Founded by local Methodist Church. It began as a settlement house known as the Epworth Mission to offer needed services to an influx of recently arrived immigrants seeking a better life. Those services continue today as our population is a mix of newly arrived immigrants, working poor, elderly, and the homeless... The Christian Center is committed to helping individuals and families find the tools to improve quality of life, strengthen family ties, and enrich the community.
