Can Kendir / Mert Yilmaz (CKMY) Architects is a design practice founded by Can Kendir (Izmir, Turkey 1976) and Mert Yilmaz (Istanbul, Turkey, 1977) devoted to architecture, urbanism, and interior design for both public and private sectors. The experience accumulated from years of collaboration with internationally renowned architects has allowed setting up a professional practice of high caliber, where contemporary architectural investigation plays a leading role. Projects that stand out for their singularity include the Sisli Development (Istanbul, Turkey, 2007), Gurel Residence (Izmir, Turkey, 2008), Burckin Suites (Sultanahmet, Turkey, 2011).
