Circa was established in 1998 as the brainchild of Jackie. With a background in art and a lifelong love of treasure hunting, she soon turned her tiny shop into a sprawling, much-loved local institution. Under her benevolent dictatorship, Circa has become Charlottesville's favorite spot for antique furniture, vintage finds and funky decor. Jackie's daughter Robin has since joined the business. She has travelled all over the world and has settled back in Charlottesville with her family. Together they run Circa…sometimes in harmony, sometimes in disagreement, but always with a love of the business... It's important to note that we don't work on commission. We work off a profit sharing model, which gives our employees a vested interest in the success of our business and incentive not to compete, but to work together.
