Bio Angie oversees the planning, implementation, management and control of the corporation's financial activities. She has more than 18 years of progressively responsible experience in accounting and finance. In her spare time, she is an active community volunteer for organizations like the Alaska Run for Women and YWCA. Anna Hoover

Bio Anna has served on the Chugach Board of Directors since 2022. She is a commercial fisherman, private pilot, practicing artist, and filmmaker. She also serves as founder/Board President of First Light Alaska and as a Board Member for Becharof Corporation. Anna resides in Anchorage and her family is originally from Cordova.

Brenda Dukart

Bio Brenda has served on the Chugach Board of Directors since 2014. Additionally, she serves as a Director for One Nation Walking Together, Native American Advisory Member to the El Pomar Foundation and member of the Shareholder Advisory Committee for The Eyak Corporation. Brenda is self-employed as a Communications Strategist for Dukart Communication Strategies in Colorado and her family is originally from Cordova.

David Totemoff, Sr.

Bio David first served on Chugach's Board of Directors in 1979. Since then, he has served from 2000 to 2003, and from 2004 to present. He is Chugach's Corporate Secretary and Lands and Cultural Resources Committee Chair. He also serves as a Board Member for the Native Village of Tatitlek and the Chugach School District. David is retired and resides in the Village of Tatitlek.

Debbie Conklin - Chief Risk Officer

Bio Debbie's career in legal and risk management at Chugach started 25 years ago, as such, she has an in-valuable knowledge of a myriad of different business models. She's a seasoned professional touting over 30 years of experience. In her role Ms. Conklin is responsible for understanding business operations, commercial insurance program, legal support, corporate governance, and entity management to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and laws. Ms. Conklin has a passion for her community particularly seen in her cha rit able giving to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, ASPCA, Children's Lunchbox, Public Radio, and Amer ican Red Cross. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, winter walks, and traveling with her kids and grandk ids.

George E. Morris

Gwen Welch - CFO

Bio Ms. Welch brings over 25 years of finance, operations, and management experience to Chugach Commercial Holdings. In her role as Director of Finance, she provides financial leadership, reporting, budgeting, forecasting and analysis guidance for CCH's operating companies. Additionally, she ensures regulatory and GAAP reporting compliance. Her leadership approach has been one of collaboration which has been a key asset to working with multiple departments, portfolio companies, and third-party entities to meet objectives as well as identify and execute efficiencies. Gwen is a lifelong Alaskan, born and raised in Dillingham. She enjoys the Alaska outdoors, especially fishing, hiking and boating. She's also an avid sports fan and loves traveling and spending time with her husband and two children.

Jayme Selanoff

John F.C. Johnson

Bio John works to ensure cultural preservation, documentation and propagation for the Chugach Region. He has over 40 years of experience helping Chugach reclaim historical sites and artifacts, and serves as a global ambassador for the Chugach people. In his spare time, John likes to plan and design improvements for Nuuciq Spirit Camp, which he established and developed over the last 25 years.

Josie Hickel - President

Bio Josie is responsible for leading Chugach's Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA) land management and resource development strategy, strengthening community relationships and resources within the Chugach region, and protecting and preserving Chugach's cultural heritage. She was instrumental in executing groundbreaking land development opportunities for the corporation, including our carbon offset project and Bering River coal rights transaction. She was inducted into the Athena Society in 2012 for outstanding leadership in both business and community service, demonstrated by her volunteerism for organizations like the Alaska Sealife Center and Prince William Sound Regional Citizens Advisory Council. Julie Kitka

Bio Julie is the President/CEO of the Alaska Federation of Natives and first served on the Chugach Board of Directors from 1982-1988 and has since served from 2005 to present. Additionally, she serves as a Commissioner for the Denali Commission and as a director for Starlink Initiative Limited, a Division of Space Explorations Technologies Corporation. Julie resides in Anchorage and her family is originally from the historic village of Nuchek.

Kathleen Grimes

Bio Kathy has been with Chugach for over 25 years. She brings more than 35 years of finance and accounting experience to the team. She is also active in the local business community including involvement in the local Rotary.

Matthew McDaniel

Bio Matt has served on the Chugach Board of Directors since 2005 and is the Vice Chairman and Compensation Committee Chair. He holds an MBA and is the owner and Business Consultant for Alaska Corporate Consulting as well as the CEO for Pedro Bay Corporation. Matt resides in Anchorage and his family is originally from Cordova.

Melissa Gaub

Melissa is responsible for accurate and timely financial reporting, central treasury, and for maintaining sound accounting records and comprehensive internal controls at Chugach. She has been with the company for eight years, and has more than 21 years of experience in accounting and finance. Peter Andersen - COO, President

Bio With more than 25 years of combined leadership and management experience, Peter has held the position of President at Chugach Alaska Services and senior leadership positions at UIC Arctic Response Services and Alyeska Pipeline Service Company. In these roles, he has continuously led a dedicated workforce of professionals and subject matter experts in operations, maintenance, training and safety providing services to large, complex client organizations. A lifelong Alaskan born and raised in Cordova, Alaska, Peter spent many years as a commercial fisherman in Prince William Sound, Kodiak Island and the Bering Sea.

Scott Davis

Bio Scott is responsible for all aspects of Chugach's federal government contract operations, including contract performance, profitability, operational policies, procedures, customer satisfaction and safety. Scott brings 28 years of leadership experience to his role, including 21 years at Chugach in various capacities focused on operations. Additionally, he is a seasoned leader in engineering management, operations management, asset management, federal acquisition, design engineering, construction management and program management.

Sheila Borer

Bio Sheila has served on the Chugach Board of Directors since 2021. Sheila is originally from Cordova and now resides in Anchorage where she is retired from the financial industry.

Sheri Buretta - Chairman

Bio Sheri has served as Chugach's Chairman since 1998. In addition, she serves as a board director for the Alaska Federation of Natives, Copper Mountain Foundation, Native American Contractor's Association (alternate), Russian Orthodox Sacred Sites in Alaska (ROSSIA), Silver Salmon Creek Leadership Institute, The Tatitlek Corporation, and as the Chair for the University of Alaska Board of Regents. William Rogers

Bio Bill leads the legal, risk and security teams and serves as General Counsel for Chugach Government Solutions and its subsidiaries. Bill has over 25 years of experience, including a decorated active duty career serving in the U.S. Air Force as well as the U.S. National Guard.
