Charles B. Talbot advises beverage alcohol and hospitality industry clients with transactional matters, regulatory compliance, trade practice counseling and regularly assists in negotiating and drafting agreements relating to the distribution of beverages (wine, spirits, beer and non-alcoholic) and food service, asset purchases and stock purchases, escrow, management throughout the transition of a business, indemnification, assignments, releases as well as settlement of disputes. He also assists companies throughout the full life cycle of the acquisition and disposition of their business, from letters of intent to closing.
Whether drafting demand letters, negotiating pre-litigation resolutions or crafting settlement agreements, Charles ensures clients are equipped with options to move their case forward in the most cost-effective route possible.
Prior to joining the firm, Charles was an intellectual property attorney at an international law firm in their Silicon Valley office, focusing on technology transactions, patent litigation and antitrust matters for leading technology, eCommerce and financial services companies.

In Dimitrios G. Christopoulos' beverage alcohol and hospitality focused-practice, he provides trade practice counseling and guidance regarding transactional matters, including distribution agreements, litigation, including enforcement matters, distributor termination matters, and commercial disputes such as lease and partnership disputes. Dimitri provides guidance regarding permitting and licensing for importers, manufacturers, distributors and retailers, including grocery stores, restaurants, hotels and unique licensure.
Jennifer R. Niesen's practice focuses on representing suppliers, distributors and retailers with complex transactional and regulatory matters including production, distribution and importation agreements, federal, state and local licensing matters and application issues, commercial leasing, partnership disputes and trademarks. She also assists clients with litigation related to these matters as well as marketing and communications compliance and the acquisition and sale of businesses and real estate within the beverage alcohol and hospitality industry.
Prior to joining the firm, Jennifer was an associate at a full-service Illinois and Wisconsin law firm where she represented large financial institutions as well as individuals and other entities regarding corporate transactional and real estate matters and the related litigation surrounding corporate and security matters.

Kristina D. She has extensive experience in guiding local and national companies on licensing structures, procedural and regulatory requirements and appears on behalf of her clients before federal, state and local regulatory commissions. In addition, she displays a substantial background in counseling companies, whether publicly traded or privately owned, on acquiring and maintaining licenses through ownership modifications and corporate restructuring. Kristina also counsels on the drafting of industry-related commercial agreements, including importation, distribution, food & beverage management, hotel management, license agreements, leases and purchase & sale agreements.
