Amit Ghose

Dr. Ghose has been practicing internal medicine since 1995 and has been with CIMA since 1997. Dr. Ghose's special interests are diabetes and neurology. In his personal time he enjoys tennis, travel, reading and fashion design. Something everyone should know about him: He was Co-Chief of staff at IRMC 2008 and Chief of Staff IRMC 2009. He was Chief of Staff at Sparrow Specialty Hospital 2006.

Andrew Stasevich

  • Family Medicine Physician
Dr. Stasevich is a Family Medicine Physician originally from the westside of Detroit, MI. He spent some time there in his childhood and moved to Livonia. He attended Wayne State University where he received his B.A in Biological Sciences and a B.S in Psychology. He then went to Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine where he graduated with his degree as a Doctor of Osteopathy. He has worked at various clinical practices in rural and suburban settings throughout Michigan as well as an academic setting with MSU as an assistant professor. He enjoys preventative care and many other areas of medicine.

Chris Farnum

Job Titles:
  • Infectious Disease Specialist
Dr. Farnum is a clinical Infectious Disease Specialist with over 25 years' experience in the Lansing area. He is board certified in General Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease and has been proactive in the Lansing area since 1993. Background: Dr. Farnum grew up in White Lake, Michigan area as the youngest of three. He excelled in distance running in high school and was awarded a Boosters Scholarship from Lakeland High School, as well as the Huron Valley Lions Club (combination of Athletic and Academic achievements). He entered Michigan State University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology in 1983. He then completed a Medical Technology Internship at Henry Ford hospital and became Board Certified in June 1994. He attended Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine from 1984-1988 and was a member of the fraternity Sigma Sigma Phi. He completed his internship and Internal Medicine residency at Lansing General Hospital and was chosen resident of the year in 1991. He did a residency in Infectious Disease at Botsford General Hospital from 1991-1993 and spent nearly half his time at Henry Ford Hospital during his residency. He specializes in the care of complex medical problems in adults with expertise in multiple disciplines in the medical profession including Dermatology, Epidemiology, Hematology, Infectious Disease/Microbiology, Orthopedic/Prosthetic Joint Infections, Neurological Diseases, Pulmonary/Critical Care, Rheumatology and Sepsis/Septic Shock. Dr. Farnum has been married to his wife, Elyse since 1995. They live in Okemos and enjoy movies and music. His other hobbies include being around water/lakes, scuba diving and sports.

Douglas VanderJagt

Dr. VanderJagt, a previous native of Grand Rapids, Michigan, moved to Lansing approximately 20 years ago. A graduate of Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, he also completed a residency in Internal Medicine through MSU. Dr. VanderJagt, an Associate Professor for the College of Osteopathic Medicine, remains active in the education and training of future physicians. In addition, he has completed the course work for a Masters degree in Health Care Administration at Central Michigan University. Dr. VanderJagt has two sons Joshua and Zachary. His hobbies and interests include parenting, travel, woodworking, cycling and an occasional game of golf.

Dr. Mark Schaar

Dr. Mark Schaar is a family medicine physician who has been practicing since 1989. He obtained his bachelor's degree from Adrian College. He received his medical degree from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and he completed his residency in family practice at St. Lawrence Hospital. Dr. Schaar is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

Dr. Sarah Denham

Dr. Sarah Denham is a Board Certified Family Medicine physician, specializing in integrative and holistic care. She graduated with a double bachelor degree in science from Michigan State University in 2006. She continued her education at MSU College of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating with her medical school degree in 2011. After completing her residency, she has chosen to stay in the Greater Lansing area to provide care to those patients in search of a holistic integrative medicine physician. Dr. Denham focuses on the cause of a problem rather than a quick fix. With her own experience of severe illness and recovery using alternative medicine, Dr. Denham is able to relate to struggles and triumphs of being a patient. She loves to work with patients on improving their quality of life by working toward healthier habits and disease prevention. By using less medications and focusing on the true cause of illnesses, she can aid those that strive for a healthier life. Her exemplary knowledge of supplements, women's health, alternative medicine, and use of osteopathic manipulation is beneficial to patients of all diverse backgrounds and lifestyles. In her spare time, Dr. Denham loves to garden, cook, watch movies, listen to music, and travel. She is a great fit to the Greater Lansing area with the eco-friendly, whole body approach that she gives to medicine.

Dr. Thomas K. Jamieson

Dr. Thomas K. Jamieson is a 1969 graduate of Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. His undergraduate degree of Bachelor of Science was completed in 1965 at Michigan State University. While at MSU he was Captain of the Men's Tennis Team and played Number 1 Singles. After completing his medical degree, Dr. Jamieson completed his Internship at Lansing General Hospital in 1970. He began General Practice which also included Family Practice, Sports Medicine, Obstetrics and Surgery. He opened the Jamieson Total Health Care, a family practice, sports medicine, and preventive medicine clinic offering nutrition and acupuncture care. While practicing medicine, Dr. Jamieson was Team Physician for Lansing Everett High School, Lansing Harry Hill, Eastern High School, Waverly High School. He did sports physicals for all age groups. Dr. Jamieson attended home football games for 40 years, never missed a single Friday or Saturday night football game in 40 years. Dr. Jamieson was Team Physician for Lansing Community College, Lansing All Star Semi Pro Football, Lansing's Professional Hockey Team (Lansing Lancers), Michigan State University for 2 years, the Detroit Lions for 2 years, and State and World Championships. He was Team Physician for the U.S. Olympic Boxing Team, traveling around the world as their Ringside Physician. Dr. Jamieson has been married to his wife, Debbie since 1976. They live in Lansing and together built the nutrition practice within Jamieson Total Health Care. They enjoy traveling and spending time with their family including 6 children, 17 grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is an avid MSU Spartan sports fan, regularly attending sports events and is a long time member of the MSU Varsity Club. Dr. Jamieson is passionate about golf and has played in tournaments, including the U.S. Senior Open as well as five World Golf Pro Ams, City Championships, has won State Senior Golf Championship, and was named the Outstanding Senior Player of the Year in Michigan.

Elizabeth Kozlowski

Dr. Kozlowski is board certified in Family Practice Medicine, and has been working for CIMA 2008. Background Dr. Elizabeth Kozlowski grew up in the Lansing area. She graduated from Haslett High School where she played basketball, volleyball and softball. She was on the honor roll, and graduated in the top 10% of class. She then attended Albion College, receiving an academic scholarship. While at Albion, she played softball and basketball. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in mathematics. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine/Midwestern University in Downer's Grove, IL. She completed her internship and residency at Ingham Regional Medical Center in Lansing, MI. She was chief resident at Ingham. Dr. Kozlowski is an assistant clinical professor at Michigan State University's College of Osteopathic Medicine. During her years of practice she has been appointed Director of Family Practice Residency. Dr. Kozlowski has three beautiful children, and loves to spend time playing with them. To revitalize herself, she enjoys gardening, cooking, horseback riding, and creating jewelry for her friends and family.

Emily Henning

Dr. Henning is a board-eligible Obstetrician and Gynecologist. She practices both in the office and hospital setting. Dr. Henning sees a broad range of patients, including prenatal care, preventative care for women, cervical cancer screening and infertility. She offers numerous gynecologic surgeries, including sterilization, hysteroscopy, laparoscopy and hysterectomy. Dr. Henning is trained in robotic surgery. Background: Dr. Henning grew up in St. Louis, Missouri and attended the University of Missouri- Columbia where she earned her bachelor's degree in Biology. She then attended medical school at Kansas City University of Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri, where she met her husband. Following graduation, the couple moved to Lansing, Michigan to begin their residency training programs at McLaren Greater Lansing. Dr. Henning was the Chief OBGYN resident during her final year of training.

Eric Lewandowski

Dr. Lewandowski has been practicing family medicine in the Lansing area for 7 years. Dr. Lewandowski enjoys all areas of family medicine. In his personal time he enjoys skiing, golfing and his military flight time. Something everyone should know about him: He is currently a flight surgeon with the USAF and for 8 years he was a security specialist for the USAF.

Erik Wert

Dr. Wert is originally from Amsterdam, NY. He received his B.S. in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Union College, Schenectady, NY graduating in 1995. He then attended Michigan State College of Osteopathic Medicine graduating in 2000. He completed his traditional internship, and his Internal Medicine Residency at Ingham Regional Medical Center/McLaren Greater Lansing in 2005.Dr. Wert has been in practice in the Lansing area since 2005. He returned to school and obtained his Masters in Public Health from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in 2016. He also is an attending physician and lectures to medical students and residents. Dr. Wert is also an Assistant Professor of medicine at Michigan State University, and is currently working on several research projects.

Jerrold Weiss

Dr. Weiss completed a residency in Diagnostic Radiology in 1974 at Aultman Hospital (major teaching hospital for Northeast Ohio Medical School), in Canton, Ohio. He was Chief Resident in 1973/74. He also completed a mini fellowship in Radiologic Pathology at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology in Washington, D.C. He is Board Certified in both Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine. Dr. Weiss was a partner in Ingham Radiology Associates P.C. from 1974-2005 and served as President from 1994-2005. Dr. Weiss was Chief of Staff at Ingham Regional Medical Center from 1993-1996 and was the first physician ever elected to the Board of Trustees of IRMC, on which he served until 2005. Dr. Weiss became an employee of Ingham Radiology in 2005. When Ingham Radiology dissolved in December of 2008, he became a P.C. and affiliated with Capital Internal Medicine Associates P.C. He established an Ultrasound lab at the main CIMA office and now will be Medical Director of the new Breast Center in Haslett. He has lectured and taught in both Ultrasound and Mammography. He was given a teaching award from Ferris State University in 1982 for teaching Ultrasound and won an international award in 1988 for a Clinical Scientific presentation on "Prostate Ultrasound". He has also written a book on Prostate Ultrasound for General Electric Corporation. He lives in Okemos and has been married for 39 years to his wife, Sue. They have two children and two grandchildren.

Mark Kidwell

Dr. Kidwell grew up in Columbus, Ohio and moved to Michigan in 2007 to attend Michigan State University. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology in 2011. In 2016 he graduated from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine before returning to Lansing to complete his Family Medicine Residency at Sparrow Hospital. During medical school he met his wife, Allison, a local pediatrician. Mark continues a legacy of devotion to medicine as he is the 5th generation of physicians in his family.
