Alex joined Clairvest in 2023 and participates in all areas of the investment process. Before Clairvest, Alex was an investment professional at Forum Asset Management where he focused on private equity investments, and prior to that, worked in corporate and investment banking at National Bank Financial and Citi. Alex has a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen's University.

Alexander joined Clairvest in 2022 and participates in all areas of the investment process. Prior to Clairvest, Alexander was a management consultant with Monitor Deloitte in the Toronto office. His work focused on serving financial institutions across strategy, operations and innovation projects for senior executives. He also served as Chief of Staff for Deloitte Canada's Financial Services Consulting practice. Alexander is an MBA graduate from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania where he was named a Palmer Scholar. He also holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen's University where he graduated first in his class.

Anchal joined Clairvest in 2021 and participates in all areas of the investment process. Prior to joining Clairvest, Anchal was a Manager in the M&A Transaction Services group at KPMG, where she advised on the financial due diligence of transactions across various industries for private equity and corporate clients. During her time at KPMG, Anchal completed a one-year secondment with the Global Credit group at the Investment Management Corporation of Ontario, evaluating public and private credit investments. Anchal holds an HBA degree with distinction from the Ivey Business School and is a qualified Chartered Professional Accountant.

Angus joined Clairvest in 2015 and participates in all areas of the investment process. Angus has spent the past seven years leading Clairvest's energy, utilities, and industrial services practice. He also oversees all Clairvest efforts in the renewable energy domain. Prior to joining Clairvest, he led the pharmaceuticals and biotechnology team for Monitor Deloitte in Shanghai. He began his career as a strategy consultant at the Monitor Group in Toronto, where he focused on corporate and growth strategy. Angus earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen's University, where he graduated with honours.

Austin initially joined Clairvest in 2017 and then rejoined in 2022. Prior to Clairvest, Austin worked in investment banking and infrastructure investing. Austin is an MBA graduate from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he was named a Palmer Scholar, and holds an HBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business, where he graduated as an Ivey Scholar.

Courtney joined Clairvest in 2023 and is responsible for Talent Management and Culture. Prior to joining Clairvest, Courtney spent 13 years at McKinsey & Company leading Canadian Recruiting and then Professional Development in Toronto. Courtney began her career at Xerox in Talent Management and recruiting supporting the Sales function across Canada. Courtney completed her BBA at Wilfrid Laurier University and then pursued a post graduate degree at Humber College in Human Resources Management.

Curtis joined Clairvest in 2023 and participates in all areas of the investment process. Prior to joining Clairvest, Curtis worked on a variety of M&A transactions as an investment banker at RBC Capital Markets and as a corporate lawyer at McCarthy Tétrault LLP. Curtis earned an MBA from INSEAD, a JD from the University of Western Ontario and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary.

Daniel joined Clairvest in 2005 and was promoted to CFO in 2009. His main responsibilities involve public and limited partnership financial reporting, tax planning, structuring and treasury operations. Prior to joining Clairvest, Daniel held various positions at Deloitte & Touche LLP, where he was exposed to a wide variety of financial and tax issues. Daniel graduated with a Master of Accounting (MAcc) from the University of Waterloo and is a CA and a CFA charterholder.

Prior to joining Clairvest, Davey spent four years in investment banking at BMO Capital Markets in the Diversified Industries Group, where he focused on M&A and debt / equity financing assignments across the environmental services and packaging industries. Doug is a Managing Director with Clairvest Group and is involved in the sourcing, execution and management of investments. Prior to Clairvest, Doug worked at TD Bank in their investment banking division focused on mergers and acquisitions, asset sales as well as equity and debt financings. Previously he was a Commodities Analyst for CPM Group in New York where he advised corporates, investors and intergovernmental organizations.
Doug holds an M.B.A from the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto, an M.Sc. in Global Affairs from New York University and a B.A. from McGill University.

Ian joined Clairvest in 2023 and participates in all areas of the investment process. Prior to joining Clairvest, Ian worked at Social Capital Partners, a Toronto-based impact investment firm focused on employee ownership transactions. Prior to that, he worked in the investment banking group at National Bank Financial, with a focus on M&A assignments, and spent time in Ernst & Young's audit practice. Ian is a Chartered Accountant (CPA, CA) and earned an HBA degree with distinction from the Ivey Business School at Western University.

Jim joined Clairvest in 2015. Jim is responsible for all Clairvest legal matters, including corporate and securities law compliance matters. In addition, he plays an active role in Clairvest's investment transactions. Prior to joining Clairvest, Jim practiced for close to nine years in the mergers & acquisitions and capital markets groups at Torys LLP. Ken Rotman - CEO, Managing Director

Ken has more than 25 years of experience as a private equity investor. He joined Clairvest in 1993 and, together with other managing directors, has been the driving force behind the design, implementation and success of Clairvest's private equity investment business. Ken has been directly involved in investments in the renewable power, waste management and defense contracting industries, amongst others. He is currently on the Board of five portfolio companies: NovaSource Power Services, Top Aces, Accel Entertainment, Air Tindi/Discovery Mining Services and Momentum Solutions. Prior to joining Clairvest, Ken spent just under three years at E. M. Warburg, Pincus & Co., one of the largest merchant banking firms in the United States. He earned a B.A. from Tufts University, an M.Sc. from the London School of Economics and an M.B.A. from New York University. Ken is a member of the Clairvest board of directors. In the not-for-profit sector, Ken is a board member of HonestReporting Canada and previously sat on the board of the Canadian Opera Company and the University Health Network.

Kole joined Clairvest in 2022 and participates in all areas of the investment process. Matt Budd - Chief Legal Officer
Matt joined Clairvest in 2023. Matt advises on Clairvest legal matters and plays an active role in Clairvest's and its portfolio companies' investment transactions. Prior to joining Clairvest, Matt worked as in-house counsel at an insurance services company and, prior to that, practiced for four years in the mergers & acquisitions group at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP. He received a B.Sc. (Hons.), JD and MBA from the University of Toronto.

Maurissa joined Clairvest in 2022 and is involved in all areas of the investment process. Prior to joining, Maurissa was an executive at George Weston Limited, Canada's largest food and drug retailer, REIT and provider of financial services. Maurissa also held various roles in investment and corporate banking where she assisted companies achieve their growth objectives through mergers and acquisitions, as well as debt and equity financing. Maurissa is a Chartered Accountant (CPA, CA) and holds a Bachelor of Management and Organizational Studies, with a specialization in Finance from the University of Western Ontario.

Michael joined Clairvest in 2020 and participates in all areas of the investment process. Prior to joining Clairvest, Michael worked on a variety of M&A transactions in investment banking at Lazard (New York) and as an attorney at Cravath, Swaine & Moore (New York). Michael earned a JD from Osgoode Hall Law School and a MBA and Bachelor of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business.

Michael, with Clairvest since 2002, handles industry research and investment origination, structuring and execution with a focus on waste management, environmental services, facility services and industrial services. Michael is currently on the Board of three solid waste management investments: Winters Bros. Waste Systems, Arrowhead Environmental Partners, and Star Waste. Since 2006, Michael has led Clairvest's investments in eight waste management platform companies.
Prior to joining Clairvest, he worked as a management consultant at Monitor Company and as a marketing manager for the National Hockey League Players' Association. Michael earned his M.B.A. from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a B.Comm. with honours from Queen's University at Kingston.

Michael, who joined Clairvest in 1998, has almost 25 years of experience as a private equity investor. He participates in all areas of the investment process. Additionally, Michael has twenty years of experience in the gaming domain, having sourced and worked with many of Clairvest's gaming platform investments covering regional casinos, route based gaming, online gaming, sports betting and technology providers. Previously, Michael worked at BMO Nesbitt Burns Equity Partners Inc., a private equity vehicle established jointly by the Bank of Montreal and Nesbitt Burns. He began his career at Nesbitt Burns in investment banking, focusing on both corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions. Michael earned his H.B.A. with distinction from the Richard Ivey School of Business and is a CFA Charterholder. He is a member of the Clairvest Board of Directors.

Since Mitch joined Clairvest in 2002, his responsibilities have focused on domain research and investment origination, structuring and execution. For the past 10+ years, Mitch has led the IT Services and Rental Services practices for Clairvest. Mitch is currently on the board of two IT Services investments: Meriplex Communications and F12.net. He is also on the board of Durante Rentals, a leading independent construction equipment rental provider serving the New York metropolitan area. He had worked previously in leveraged finance for BNP Capital Markets and in corporate finance for Bank of America after beginning his career in operations management at Bloomingdale's flagship store. Mitch earned his M.B.A. with Distinction from the University of Michigan Business School and a B.S. with Honors from Cornell University.
