CLARK MACHINERY SALES - Key Persons

Carina Alvarez

After graduating from college with an engineering degree, Carina began her career at Boeing Commercial Airplane Group, working to resolve chronic rejection tags on the wide-body aircraft assembly line. Taking her passion for process and the things that she learned at Boeing, she moved on to apply these same skills across several industries from industrial supply, to importing products for custom homes, and finally to the restaurant industry. After providing engineering consulting services to many large chain restaurants, Carina turned her focus to Clark Machinery Sales. Bringing her process improvement skills with her, Carina enjoys making sure that every deal flows as smoothly as possible from start to end. Whether it is getting a machine ready to advertise, handling bank lien releases or managing the day to day operations of the office, Carina applies her aptitude for organization and logistics to insure a positive outcome. When Carina is not at work, she spends her free time with her two daughters or enjoying a cup of coffee and a good book.

Troy Clark

Coming from the education field, Troy took up the challenge to work with manufacturers and improve the process of getting quality machines to the right shops. His father retired from operating a machine cell at Hillsdale Tool in Hillsdale, MI and was amazed when he learned Troy had gotten into the business on the other side. Over the years, Troy has enjoyed partnering with customers and other quality dealers, and has worked hard to grow his expertise by joining the Machinery Dealers National Association (MDNA) - the largest organization of used machinery dealers that equips, educates and holds the industry accountable to certain standards. In addition to serving at the local level of the MDNA, Troy is on the national board and has also become a Certified Equipment Appraiser (CEA) with the Association of Machinery and Equipment Appraisers (AMEA) and USPAP certified. The thing he finds most fulfilling about the business is creating solutions to customers' machinery needs, whether buying or selling. When he is not talking about Horse Power or RPM, Troy enjoys serving in his church, running 5Ks, carting his daughters to school and dating his lovely wife, Helen.
