CLAY CONSTRUCTION - Key Persons
Adam is a Project Manager for Clay Construction and has participated on both ends of the construction experience; on site and in the office. Adam has his bachelor's in business administration degree from Trinity Western University and is working on his master's degree in the evenings. While Adam was a student, he worked part time in the construction industry. He brings a desire for excellence to the company and he loves to create business processes that maximize efficiency in our operations and backend support to the team. After work, Adam is often either found outdoors hiking through the mountains in BC with his wife or doing academic research.
As a Certified Construction Project Manager, his nearly 20 years of experience in residential construction and renovation is a benefit to any project. He prides himself in his ability to troubleshoot and solve problems in a timely and budget conscious manner, and always looks forward to helping clients maneuver through what is most often a confusing and daunting experience - whilst helping Clay's trades specialists accomplish their best work on time and on budget, for the benefit of all stakeholders. When not applying his considerable skills to his work, Andy can be found, "urban hiking" - keeping fit by walking the wide variety of urban neighborhoods and experiences offered by our beloved West Coast. Oh, and watching English Premier League football!!

Daniel brings with him more than 20 years experience in the construction industry. He is a red sealed ticketed carpenter from Kwantlen Polytechnic University and has 10 years experience in project management. Daniel enjoys a hands on approach from years of running a framing company, and brings with him knowledge of both the construction industry and how trades work together. He has experience in high stress situations from his work with emergency restoration, firefighting and raising a family of 8 kids! His ability to take a stressful situation and find quick long lasting resolutions has proven to be an asset in all areas of life.
Iman comes to Clay Construction with 20 years' experience in construction management having earned two separate degrees in Architecture and Civil Engineering. Iman is a reliable and conscientious construction manager, with an eye for the details. In Iran, he had a vast experience in a building residential and commercial high rises and has a proven leadership skills and strong technical background.

Isaac is a Red Seal Carpenter and is the hardest worker you will ever meet. Isaac has worked in the construction industry for close to 10 years and has worked on the entire build process from demolition to move in. He works with excellence and has a remarkable skillset for completing unique projects. Isaac works both as a carpenter and a junior Site Manager. He is married and loves working on a farm with his wife taking care of their chickens, cows, and goats.
Larry Clay - Founder, President
As founder and president, Larry is the visionary for the business and is a consistent motivator for his team. To our clients he is a creative, authoritative and reassuring presence throughout the building process. His expertise and commitment to premium customer care has earned Clay Construction top awards in customer service. He is an industry leader serving on local, provincial and national home building boards and has been a featured speaker coast to coast. He is passionate about building healthy, comfortable, efficient and durable homes.

In 2008, Sharon started working with Shaun St. Amour of Footprint Sustainable Housing working on commercial tenant improvements bringing a natural gift of organizing and coordination as she enjoys the pressure of tight timelines. Sharon has completed extensive projects for the Anglican Diocese. She has worked in administration roles at Bosa Properties and then office manager and oversight of tenant improvements at Henderson Construction where she oversaw a full flooring re-fit at a local Winners store and many small tenant improvements. She now advances her career at Clay Construction bringing her strength of completing projects on time and her desire is always to exceed client expectations.
Shaun is very passionate about resilient prefab passive houses. He is the VP of Operations for Clay Construction Inc. Before this position, he was the Outreach and Education Associate with 475 High Performance Building Supply. He graduated from The University of British Columbia with a degree in Wood Products Processing. He is a certified Passive House Tradesperson. Shaun also obtained a Building Construction Technology Associate Certificate at BCIT while working at Viceroy Homes and BOSA Construction. He was a general contractor under Footprint Sustainable Housing Corp. Shaun has also been involved with the Passive House Accelerator. If Shaun isn't talking about passive houses, he's playing Lego with his daughters or working on his hubby-do list.
