Dr. Ann Elizabeth Watwood is a Naturopathic Medical Doctor who specializes in cosmetic dermatology, anti-aging medicine, and women's health. She is certified in advanced laser skin care treatments, Botox, Dermal Fillers, and Bio-identical Hormone replacement therapies.
She is a graduate from Arizona State University with a BA in Anthropology and received her medical degree from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine.
Dr. Watwood is dedicated to helping her patients look and feel their best. Her passion lies in Aesthetic Medicine. By addressing all aspects of a person's life in the treatment, she can help people to become healthier so they feel better, look better, have more energy, and are happier. She does this by treating both internal issues that affect aging, such as nutrition and hormonal imbalances, as well as the external signs of aging, such as sagging skin and wrinkles. She stays informed on all the cutting edge research to make sure all of her patients are receiving the top of the line healthcare. She teaches courses for basic and advanced laser treatments and dermal fillers, as well as course for PDO threads lifts. She also speaks at conferences and private events for several different laser companies.
She is passionate about health and wellness, and her goal is to help all patients overcome their health and beauty obstacles in the safest and most effective way possible.
Dr. Romine handles all skin problems ranging from the most common such as acne, warts, psoriasis, and eczema, to the most unusual skin disorders. She also performs surgical procedures, including the removal of moles, warts and other skin tumors and growths. Her surgical procedures include freezing (cryosurgery) as well as the typical excision of lesions. Patch testing is performed for suspected contact dermatitis. Dr. Romine's practice is dedicated to patient education and she and her staff thoroughly explain each diagnosis. A recommendation is presented along with all of the risks and alternative treatment options. Educational resources such as pamphlets, brochures and DVD's are provided. Dr. Romine encourages your questions and concerns and assures you they will be answered with candor and compassion.

Dr. Terry. R. Maffi is a highly qualified Scottsdale plastic surgeon who offers a comprehensive list of surgical and non-surgical cosmetic procedures at his leading-edge, full-service, private practice. With years of advanced training, experience and passion for his work, Dr. Maffi consistently delivers safe and outstanding surgical outcomes. Dr. Maffi completed his plastic surgery training at the world-renowned Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Upon finishing his plastic surgery fellowship, Dr. Maffi was fortunate to train with internationally recognized plastic surgeon Dr. Jack Friedland, during which time he received extensive training in aesthetic facial rejuvenation surgery. This experience, combined with his training at the Mayo Clinic, has allowed Dr. Maffi to gain expertise in all aspects of aesthetic plastic surgery with a special emphasis on facial rejuvenation.
As an adjunct faculty member for both the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, and Mayo Clinic Arizona, Dr. Maffi enjoys training plastic surgery residents in both aesthetic plastic surgery and complex facial reconstruction. He speaks nationally pertaining to various plastic surgery topics and is routinely asked to train other physicians. Dr. Maffi is an instructor in plastic surgery at The Mayo Clinic College of Medicine as well as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Arizona College of Medicine and in the Division of Clinical Education at Midwestern University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Maffi also specializes in advanced techniques for laser resurfacing and aesthetic injections and travels across the nation giving seminars and workshops to train other physicians and health care providers on aesthetic injections. His work has been published in numerous national medical journals.
Dr. Maffi is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is the founding president of the Arizona Society of Plastic Surgeons, a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Maffi has been in private practice for nearly 10 years.
Dr. Maffi has a special interest in caring for those who are less fortunate. He has devoted time to working with the indigent at the county hospital in Phoenix and he has traveled to underdeveloped countries, performing reconstructive surgery to address congenital defects, such as cleft lip and palate deformities.
In his free time, Dr. Maffi enjoys his wonderful family. His wife is a board certified gynecologist at Mayo Clinic Arizona. The two have been together for more than 20 years and they have supported each other through college, medical school and residency. The Maffis have two young children and they cherish their time together, whether at home, around town or traveling abroad.
Liz hails from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and moved to AZ for better weather and to advance her career almost 5 years ago. She is a Clearskin Alumna, an Arizona Licensed Aesthetician (of 16 years) and an ARRA licensed Laser Technician/ Instructor. She is very passionate about service and patient care. In her spare time, she enjoys getting together with friends, seeing live music, being in the know about new places to go, and hanging out with her amazing husband, Lex, and her Boston Terrier, Mr.
Elly Qorri CLT Trainer: A native of Arizona, Elly entered into the aesthetic field in 2010. Her family originates from Eastern Europe. Elly is bilingual, speaking both English and Albanian. A graduate of Imaj Institute and a national Clinical Laser Trainer, Elly holds her certification as a Laser Supervisor and Laser Safety Officer. Elly has a passion for helping others enhance their natural beauty by combining medical knowledge with artistic talent. She has extensive training and education with some of the top educators and providers. She trains medical professionals around the United States and supports them throughout their business journey. Being in the industry for many years, she knows what treatments and products will be the right fit for every skin type. Elly's goal is to help her clients achieve their skincare desires and needs.
Her hobbies include traveling, hanging out with her dog Ollie, spending time with family and friends, playing basketball and exploring new restaurants and art festivals.
Emma moved from Arkansas to Arizona in July of 2022, with plans to obtain her Laser Technician License at Clearskin Institute. She had been looking forward to the move and education for months.
Emma went through the 88 Hour Laser Course. She excelled and enjoyed every moment. She was made aware of an internship opportunity and jumped on it as soon as possible. She gained the internship title shortly after graduating the course. Emma has hopes to gain as much knowledge in the field as possible throughout the next year!

Hayley is a family nurse practitioner, board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She began her career in medical aesthetics in 2005 as an aesthetician and laser technician.
In 2013 she graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelors in Nursing and graduated in 2018 from Grand Canyon University as a family nurse practitioner. Her previous nursing experience includes working in the emergency room, home IVIG infusion RN, Endocrinology, as well as an Aesthetics Injector.
Hayley's hospital and ER experience has motivated her to focus on educating and treating with preventive wellness healthcare. She utilizes a more integrative method to treating clients with a preventive and holistic approach to concerns in aesthetics, nutrition, endocrinology and overall health and well-being.
Larry graduated from Arizona State University with his BSN and after a few years working ICU's and Neurosurgery, went on to specialize as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner.
For the last 25 years he has specialized in all phases of non-surgical aesthetics and has developed the most advanced methods for treating and training in the country.
Larry developed the following:

2004 to current Larry is on the luminary board of many companies and speaks internationally for them.
2006 Larry presented in Paris his new technique for body consultations and the psychology used to enhance lasting treatment results.
2006-current Larry developed certification programs Accredited by the States of Arizona and Texas for laser didactic and hands-on training.
2012 Larry developed the Mastering Business Aesthetics to help Med spas grow their business using business techniques he developed.
2017-current Larry built The Game Changer Event that brings hundreds of people together for a day of personal growth (by raising your standard) and building "The 7 Pillars of Profit" to create exponential growth.
Starr went into Aesthetics school directly out of high school, studying at Avalon School of Cosmetology obtaining her Aesthetician License in 2019. She has always had a passion for skin and always knew she wanted to play a key role in helping people look and feel better about themselves.
For over a year she enhanced her sales skills by working in sales and sales management at Justice. Following that she applied to and was accepted into Clearskin Institute's internship program in February of 2021.
She continues to grow with the many technologies and will be taking the Laser Certification course soon.
Paradise Valley Cosmetic Surgeon Dr. Beals graduated from Wayne State University School of Medicine in 1978 and completed a General Surgery Residency at Beaumont Hospital in Detroit, MI. In pursuit of specialized training, he completed the Phoenix Plastic surgery Residency in Phoenix, AZ, which included reconstructive and cosmetic techniques, followed by a Craniomaxillofacial Fellowship at the University of Toronto, Hospital for Sick Children. He has been in private practice since 1986 and has founded the Craniofacial Foundation of Arizona and the Barrow Children's Cleft and Craniofacial Center (previously Southwest Craniofacial Center) where he is currently the Director. He has also developed the Heads Up Baby educational material.
Dr. Beals was certified by the American Board of Plastic surgery in 1986 and the American Board of Surgery in 1984. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic surgery, the American Society of Craniofacial Surgery (founding member), the American Society of Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association, the American Association of Plastic surgery, and the International Society of Craniofacial Surgery.
In addition to being a Cosmetic Surgeon in Phoenix he is involved in teaching, research and publication. He is an Associate Professor of Plastic surgery at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Speech and Hearing Sciences at Arizona State University. He spent much of his childhood in Africa as the son of missionaries and has participated in overseas medical missions in countries such as Bangladesh, Mexico, and Vietnam. Dr. Beals has consistently appeared in the Phoenix Top Docs magazine and among the Best Doctors in America, and has received accolades for his service to the community.
When he's not practicing cosmetic surgery in Scottsdale, Dr. Beals enjoys outdoor retreats, sporting events and activities, music, art, experimenting with new gadgets, and spending quality time with his wife, Martha, and three grown daughters.
Syerra is an individual with a high internal need to succeed. Syerra graduated early from high school while going through an aesthetician training program at the same time.Follwed immediately by getting her laser tech liscense.
Getting her aesthetician and CLT license in the fall of 2020 she applied for, and was accepted, into the internship program at Clearskin Institute. This one - year program prepared her for treating patients with multiple advanced technologies and for a leadership role in aesthetic training by performing over 100 treatments of multiple modalities.
As an aesthetician, certified laser technician and certified laser trainer she is helping manufactures, students, physicians and sales reps gain the knowledge and skill necessary to successfully promote and treat patients with the new and ever changing technology available today.

Tavai is a recent Magna Cum Laude ASU graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Communication. During her collegiate years she was also a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. She uses her college experience to oversee front desk operations and day to day logistics. Tavai has also began to grow the marketing department within Clearskin adding more outside marketing as well as focus on social media marketing.
