Dani Ohm

Dani Ohm started her journey at Clearview Recovery Inc., in 2012 as a client after 12 years of extensive drug use (meth being her drug of choice) and criminal history. She was homeless, had lost her child and was at the bottom when she was admitted. She was at Clearview for 9 months, regained parental rights of her child , gained sobriety, self-love, coping skills and graduated in 2013. Dani relates to clients with her own history and guides from personal experience. She embarked on her college journey with a major in graphic technology at DMACC in 2014. She graduated with her first diploma for visual communication in 2015. She continued at DMACC to obtain her associate degree in 2017. Dani was hired as a night technician at Clearview in May 2015. She was hired as counselor in June 2016. Dani worked the experience track through Iowa Board of Certification to obtain her CADC in 2019. Dani's passion is to empower women to change their lives! Dani enjoys being active in her recovery by attending meetings, jail ministry, bible study, and attending church. Her hobbies include riding motorcycles, traveling, shopping, watching movies, watching football and relaxing.

DeDe Blom - COO

DeDe Blom is one of the original visionaries in creating Clearview Recovery, Inc. She has worked in the field for 18 years and has dedicated those years to empowering addicts to find recovery by giving them the tools for success. DeDe takes great pride in her three children and their accomplishments. She enjoys watching them in all their activities. Her favorite activity is the weekly family meal time with "laughter, love and chaos." DeDe enjoys being outdoors, making garden art and fairy gardens. She enjoys gifting them to anyone who shows an interest.

Diana Smith

Diana Smith has worked at Clearview since 2011. She said: It is a very rewarding job - making a difference in the lives of the women that stay here."

Scott Pritchard

Job Titles:

Scott Pritchard began his career at Clearview Recovery as a Day Technician in 2005. He has served in several capacities in his time at the non-profit including Service Coordinator, Day Technician and Substance Abuse Counselor. Scott was named Executive Director of Clearview Recovery in 2014. In addition to his work with Clearview, Scott enjoys being an active member of the community. Scott has served as Little League President and Little League Coach for six years. He is currently the president for the local Babe Ruth Baseball organization and is in his second year of coaching for Babe Ruth. He also is a Youth Sports Foundation Coach and Town Coordinator. He also has volunteered with youth sports through the local YMCA. Scott was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minn. His family moved to Newton in 1974 and Scott graduated from Newton High School. He currently resides in Newton with his wife Monica. They have four children: Michaela, Tyler, Jordon and Kinnick. He enjoys watching his children participate in school activities, coaching, watching the Hawkeyes and William Penn University football teams, and spending time with his family on the golf course.
