CORE ARCHITECTURE - Key Persons
Andrew is a CADD Technician for CORE Architecture. He holds a Bachelor of Urban Ecology from the University of Utah (2017), and in the coming year, will begin his Masters of Architecture. Andrew has a passion for remodel projects and has remodeled every home in which he has lived. This sparked his interest and desire to work in the architecture field. Andrew is a perfectionist and pays attention to the details. Andrew's experience with CORE Architecture has allowed him to gain expertise in various project types including: commercial office, warehouse, financial institutions and automotive facilities. He has developed a specialty for reviewing city zoning ordinances for future projects.
Andrew is a father of two and loves to spend time with his family. He enjoys building home improvement projects and can be found walking down the aisles of Home Depot, almost every Saturday. In 2013, Andrew was asked to design a cabin in the Bear Lake area, which was built, and is being used as a vacation home for the owner and family. That experience helped fulfill a dream of his, and soon after, he began his architecture journey.

Curtis Livingston, AIA, NCARB, was recently promoted to Principal at Curtis Miner Architecture. Since joining CMA in 2016, Curtis has prioritized and fostered a culture of quality architecture and outstanding service. A 25-year industry veteran, he has been an influential contributor to the K-12 market in the Intermountain West.
"Curtis shares a vision for firm success, as well as exceptional performance in design, management, and project execution," shares Curtis Miner. As principal, his role will expand to include leadership in business development and marketing activities. He will continue to focus his efforts on promoting CMA internal values and messages through participation in the firm's Quality Committee.
Curtis leads the K-12 team at Curtis Miner Architecture. In his 25 years of experience, he has gained a depth of experience and knowledge in the education field having worked on numerous high school, middle school, and elementary school projects for many of the school districts in Utah, Wyoming, and Colorado. These include Wasatch High School, Corner Canyon High School, Timpanogos Middle School, Greenwood Elementary, and Pinedale Elementary.
Curtis received his Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies and a Master of Architecture from the University of Utah. Curtis is a member of the American Institute of Architects and is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. He is a Registered Architect in Utah, Arizona, and Florida.
BIM Technician Jacob Frederickson creates skillful drafts, models, and renders for CMA clients. His communication skills and passion for learning makes him an ideal member of our team!

We are pleased to recognize the promotion of Mike Anderson, AIA, NCARB, to principal. Since joining Curtis Miner Architecture (CMA) in 2000, Mike has put his significant design and project management skills to use on a variety of commercial projects including mixed-use, education, automotive, multi-family, retail, and light industrial projects.
Mike joined the firm while attending Utah Valley University. He was pursuing an associate degree in Science and Drafting Technology. "The professor pulled me and a few of my classmates out individually to inform us that a new local promising architectural firm was seeking architectural drafters," Mike shares. He applied and interviewed shortly thereafter and was hired. He went on to receive Bachelor of Science and Master of Architecture degrees from the University of Utah and went on to receive his architecture license.
"Mike embodies the values, culture, and philosophy on which CMA was founded," shares Curtis Miner. "He was a natural fit and has truly embraced and fostered a culture that values excellent design, outstanding service, mentorship, and accountability."
His promotion reinforces the goal of CMA leadership to create and sustain a company that lives in perpetuity. "The firm is creating opportunities for employees to learn, grow, and mentor future firm leaders," Mike explains. He has helped lead the firm's focus on mentorship and was instrumental in formalizing a long-term vision of team member mentorship and growth. In addition to shaping CMA business practices, Mike will continue to advocate for elevating a sense of personal accountability and stretching to reach company goals through training and staff interviews.
