Alice serves as Senior Vice-President and Chief Corporate Officer at Cameco, one of the largest global providers of the fuel needed to energize a clean-air world. She has held diverse and increasingly senior leadership roles at the company for more than 30 years. In her current role, she provides executive oversight for human resources, safety, health, environment, quality, regulatory relations, business technology services, supply chain management, internal audit and corporate ethics.
She has been integral in Cameco's position as a leading industrial employer of Indigenous peoples in Canada. She also provided leadership for ground-breaking collaboration agreements with Cameco's home communities in the north - focusing on workforce development, business development, environmental stewardship, community engagement and community investment.
She has guided Cameco's multiple Canadian operations through complex regulatory/licensing systems and upheld safety and environmental performance at the highest level, resulting in longer license terms for Cameco's operations.
Alice also serves on the boards of SaskEnergy, Mining Association of Canada and Saskatchewan Mining Association.

Amanda Rivers is the Treasurer of Women in Nuclear (WiN) Canada. In her role, Amanda provides financial oversight of the operations of WiN Canada and its chapters, an organization comprised of over 3,000 members across Canada. WiN Canada seeks to address three challenging goals. First, to engage and educate the public regarding the safe use and application of nuclear and radiation technologies. Second is to provide professional development opportunities for WiN Canada members. The third is to promote career interest in nuclear among women and young people. Amanda is also a member of the Diversity & Inclusion team within Kinectrics.
In her day job, Amanda Rivers is the Director of Business Development at Kinectrics, responsible for the account with Ontario Power Generation. In her role, Amanda is responsible for developing strategic growth plans for each of Kinectrics pillars of engineering services, negotiating contracts and managing relationships with one of Kinectrics' primary accounts in the nuclear industry.
Amanda has over 17 years experience in the nuclear industry at Kinectrics Inc. Her passion for learning and tackling new challenges has driven her to take on various roles throughout the organization starting as a project leader in the Nuclear Engineering Services team, the Service Line Leader and Lead Trainer for Commercial Grade Dedication, Manager of Projects in the Probabilistic Risk Assessment team as well as a role in the finance department as the Business Analyst for Kinectrics' International Companies. Amanda's diverse experiences, combined with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from Queen's University and an MBA from Schulich School of Business, have provided a strong foundation for business development and strategic planning. Amanda is also a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) which complements her skill set by providing the analytical skills needed to make informed, insightful decisions.

Brett Plummer was appointed Vice President Nuclear and Chief Nuclear Officer at NB Power's Point Lepreau Nuclear Generating Station (PLNGS) in November 2015. As a member of the Executive, he is accountable for leading the Point Lepreau Nuclear Generating Station's strategic direction, has taken the lead in pursuing Small Modular Reactors for New Brunswick and played an active role in developing the SMR Roadmap for Canada.
Brett's extensive background includes over 40 years' experience in nuclear power Operations, Senior Leadership and Project Management roles.
Brett is a Past Chair and active member of the Chief Nuclear Officers Forum (CNOF), a COG Voting Member, and is a member of the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO) Executive Advisory Group.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Technical Business from New Hampshire College, as well as an Associate Science degree in Nuclear Engineering Technology from the University of New York. Christopher Gully is a communications leader with over a decade of experience working on topics ranging from energy and climate to labour migration rights and statistics for development. He previously worked in Paris at the International Energy Agency (IEA) with roles including Executive Speechwriter and Senior Editor, and played a central role in developing and implementing the IEA's digital modernisation and rebranding strategy in 2019.
He has also worked for the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), International Labour Organization (ILO), the Simon Fraser University Centre for Dialogue, and the International Service for Human Rights (ISHR).

David Cates is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and holds Master of Accounting (MAcc) and Honours Bachelor of Arts (BA) degrees from the University of Waterloo. Prior to his appointment as President and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Cates served as Denison's Vice President Finance, Tax and Chief Financial Officer. As Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Cates played a key role in the Company's mergers and acquisitions activities - leading the acquisition of Rockgate Capital Corp. and International Enexco Ltd. Mr. Cates joined Denison in 2008 and held the position of Director, Taxation prior to his appointment as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Cates held positions at Kinross Gold Corp. and PwC LLP with a focus on the resource industry.

Dr. Douglas Chambers was a founder, Executive Vice President and Director of Risk and Radioactivity at SENES Consultants (SENES) from 1980 through 2013. He has more than 40 years of consulting experience with industry, all levels of government, and various national and international agencies. SENES was acquired by Arcadis, a large international design and consultancy firm in March 2013. He is currently a Vice President at Arcadis Canada and Technical Knowledge and Innovation (TKI) Discipline Lead for Radioactivity Services.
Dr Chambers provides strategic advice to industry and governments in Canada, the USA and internationally concerning radioactivity, human health and environmental risk; facility risk; regulatory affairs; environmental assessment; and licencing. He has presented at numerous hearings, public meetings and served as expert advisor and witness. His work is recognized in Canada, the USA and internationally.
He is a member of the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) N288 Committee on Environmental Radiation Protection (since 1977); he was a member of the Canadian Atomic Energy Control Board's (former) Advisory Committee on Radiological Protection and a member of the US NCRP Committee 85 on radon. He was a member of the Canadian delegation to UNSCEAR from 1998 through 2011 during which period he prepared two UNSCEAR Annexes and was a major contributor to two others on tritium and uranium. He was also a member of ICRP Committee 2 (dosimetry) and continues to be a member of technical working groups.
He has been an a number of industry groups, among them, the CNA, the National Mining Association and The Fertilizer Institute. He has particpated in a number of International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) expert working groups, a member of the USEPA's Radiation Advisory Committee (RAC), and past President of the Environment and Radon Section of the US Health Physics Society. Dr. Chambers was the recipient of the 1997 W.B. Lewis award of the Canadian Nuclear Society for his achievements in environmental radioactivity. In February 2002, Dr. Chambers was the Morgan lecturer for the Health Physics mid-year symposium in Orlando.

Eddie Saab was appointed president of Westinghouse Electric Canada on June 1, 2018. Mr. Saab will be focused on building the Westinghouse's commercial and operational footprint across Canada through a balanced approach of investments in technology and talent development, the formation of collaborative organizational partnerships, and ensuring that customers' needs are supported in a safe, transparent and timely manner.
With over 16 years of nuclear experience, Mr. Saab has been leading dedicated teams focused on the Canadian nuclear industry, supporting key producers, researchers, engineers and developers such as Bruce Power, Candu Energy, Canadian Nuclear Laboratories, Nordion, NB Power, and Ontario Power Generation. A dedicated advocate for the advancement of clean, safe and reliable nuclear power, he believes that nuclear will need to play a greater role in the battle against climate change.
Prior to joining Westinghouse, Mr. Saab was the vice president of Business Development & Innovation at NA Engineering Associates, Inc. There he led the firm's sales and marketing efforts with a targeted focus on the Canadian nuclear industry, and oversaw innovation throughout the organization and the expansion of its engineering capabilities portfolio. He also held leadership roles at Lakeside Process Controls, where he led the Nuclear, Commercial & Renewable Power business and served as the business unit manager for valves and power water systems.
Mr. Saab attended the University of Waterloo, completing his Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering/Management Science. He is a member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO) and Canadian Nuclear Society (CNS), and represents Westinghouse at the Organization of Canadian Nuclear Industries (OCNI). Mr. Saab is actively involved on the CNA Public Affairs Advisory Committee and the Nuclear Leadership Forum.

George brings over 15 years of experience in dealing with governments at the federal, provincial, and international level. He has worked in the federal Government as a senior advisor to Ministers, Senior Policy Analyst at Western Diversification before working in the private sector as Director of Government Affairs at the Canadian Wireless Telecommunications Association and Vice President in a senior government relations firm in Ottawa working on a number of sectors including energy and environment. George speaks English, French, Spanish and Greek. He enjoys fitness, music and spending time with family. George volunteers at the Hellenic Community of Ottawa where he is presently a board member responsible for communications.

As OPG's Senior Vice President - Corporate Affairs, Heather Ferguson is responsible for all stakeholder, public and media outreach, government relations, Indigenous relations, and branding activities in support of OPG business goals.
Heather has more than twenty years' experience in the resource development, energy and electricity sectors, which includes OPG's VP of New Business Ventures & Electrification, VP of Environment, and Director of the Hydro Business Development Group. In these roles, she was instrumental in creating OPG's electrification development group as well as assembling the company's new nuclear team working to advance small modular nuclear reactors. As the hydro business development lead, Heather and her team successfully built northern power projects in partnership with Indigenous communities. She also worked previously in the Calgary office of Golder Associates supporting clients from the mining and oil & gas sectors.
Heather currently also serves as a Director on the Boards of Atura Power and the Council of Great Lakes Region. She holds an undergraduate and Master's degree in Science from Queen's University, as well as an MBA from the Rotman School of Management.
Howard Lincoln Shearer is the Chief Executive Canada, Hitachi Canada, and most recently served in the position of Chairman of Hitachi Power Systems Canada Ltd (April,2012- December 21 st, 2013).
After joining Hitachi Canada Ltd. in 1984, he rose through the ranks to the position of President and Chief Executive Officer of Hitachi Canada Ltd. (2001-2012) and also served as a member of the board of directors of Hitachi Canada Ltd, a position to which he was appointed in 1999.
Prior to this, he served as Vice-President & General Manager of HCL's Semiconductor division. His career spans over 37 years in both the high Tech and energy sectors having been employed by Texas Instruments as well as Murata Erie.

Jill Baker is an environmental and social assessment executive, with over 20 years of diverse leadership experience working for the Alberta and federal governments, international financial institutions, the private sector, and non-profit organizations. She has worked on projects and policy development in the Canadian energy sector including nuclear.
Jill is the past Executive Director of the International Association for Impact Assessment, a global network of assessment professionals. She was also a Vice President at the Public Policy Forum. She was a Director of Policy in the federal government with both the National Round Table on the Environment and the Economy (NRTEE), as well as Natural Resources Canada, and started her career in Ottawa with Environment and Climate Change Canada.

John Gorman is President & CEO of Canadian Nuclear Association, past President & CEO of the Canadian Solar Industries Association (CanSIA) and a Director on the board of the Energy Council of Canada (ECC). John served as Canada's Designate to the International Energy Agency's Executive Committee (PVPS) and was a Founder of the Canadian Council on Renewable Electricity (CanCORE). He's using this experience to secure a leading role for nuclear energy at the heart of Canada's energy transition.
Before joining CanSIA, he was the Senior Vice President of Empower Energies, an innovative, global integrator of energy systems. He has served as a director on the boards of numerous community and corporate organizations, including one of the nation's largest electric utilities.
John has been recognized as one of Canada's CLEAN50 and is the recipient of the "40 Under 40" business award for excellence in business practices. He was awarded the designation of Climate Project Ambassador by Nobel Laureate Al Gore in 2008.

Joseph (Joe) McBrearty is an accomplished senior executive with over 35 years of experience in the nuclear industry. Holding executive-level roles at complex nuclear installations in both the United States and Canada, Mr. McBrearty's expertise includes nuclear reactor and high hazard nuclear facility operations, maintenance, training and oversight. As President and CEO at CNL, Mr. McBrearty oversees the operations of Canada's national nuclear laboratory complex, and is enacting transformational change to improve the company's research program, safety performance, security posture, capital program, and waste management activities. Included in Joe's mandate is the operation of Canada's national nuclear research program, the delivery of major environmental remediation projects and the modernization of CNL's Chalk River campus, a $1.2 billion project that will revitalize essential infrastructure, decommission aging buildings and construct new world-class facilities. Before assuming the role of President and CEO, Mr. McBrearty oversaw internal operations at CNL as its Chief Operating Officer (COO).

As Senior Vice-President, Project Delivery, Julianne den Decker is responsible for all Canadian Nuclear Major EPC Projects and New Reactors. In this capacity, she is responsible for SNC-Lavalin's role in the Ontario refurbishment projects at Bruce Power and Ontario Power Generation as well as all new reactor design and delivery including new builds and SMR development support. She leads the Nuclear Sector's Center of Excellence for Major Project Delivery, and is functionally responsible for all of Nuclear Canada's project managers and project controls personnel.
Julianne is a licenced Professional Civil Engineer in North Carolina and has participated in the Aecon Next Generation Leaders Program, CB&I's Advanced Leadership Program and Shaw's Developing Leaders Program. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Princeton University. Julianne is also the Chair of SNC-Lavalin's Ontario chapter of the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion network. Julie West is the Vice President of Nuclear Safety and Licensing at Kinectrics, leading a team of over 120 scientists and engineers. The Kinectrics NS&L team has a strong history as a centre of excellence for safety and licensing services for the Canadian Nuclear Industry. Prior to her current appointment, Julie served as Licensing Director, Decommissioning and Waste Management for Canadian Nuclear Laboratories, overseeing nuclear analysis and licensing across multiple CNL sites.
Julie has held diverse technical and management positions with increasing levels of responsibility for more than 25 years. With Kinectrics since 2001, she has provided industry leadership in the areas of licensing and safety case development for novel applications across a broad variety of technologies including reactors, tritium processing, hot cells and waste facilities.
Julie is known for being an advocate for continuous improvement and excellence, actively supporting professional development and innovation to add value to both individuals and organizations.
Julie also serves as a voting member of the CSA Nuclear Strategic Steering Committee.
Julie is a licensed professional engineer in the province of Ontario and is a graduate of Chemical Engineering from the University of New Brunswick.
Laise has over twelve years of experience working in various communications and marketing roles. After working in Shanghai, China, for ten years in organizations such as the European Union Chamber of Commerce, Forestry Innovations Investments, and Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, Laise came to Ottawa in 2016 to complete an M.A. in Sustainable Energy from Carleton University. She also has a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies specializing in communications and management from Ateneo de Manila University.

Lisa is the Country Leader, Small Modular Reactors for GE Hitachi's Nuclear Products Division. In her role, Lisa is responsible for leading the collaboration with customers, stakeholders, and suppliers to deploy the BWRX-300 SMR in Canada, targeting to be the world's first operational grid-scale SMR before 2028.
Lisa McBride is also the President of Women in Nuclear (WiN) Canada. In this role, Lisa provides vision, strategic direction, and oversight of the day-to-day operations of WiN Canada, an organization comprised of over 3,000 members across Canada. In addition to her role with WiN Canada, Lisa holds a seat on the WiN Global Board of Directors. She is also the Chair of the Women for STEM Council at Ontario Tech University.
Lisa has over 18 years' experience in the nuclear industry, starting her career with Ontario Power Generation. Her drive and commitment have propelled her into several key leadership roles, including leading Nuclear Security Operations for Pickering Nuclear Generating Station, Senior Manager of Enterprise Emergency Management, Manager, Labour Relations, Senior Manager of Organization Design and Manager, Stakeholder Relations for the Nuclear Regulatory Affairs group at Ontario Power Generation. Lisa's diverse experiences have positioned her to engage in several critical initiatives, where her experience across the business has resulted in her leadership of several multi-disciplinary teams. Matthew Mairinger is the North American Young Generation in Nuclear (NAYGN) Canadian Operating Officer. NAYGN was founded in 1999 and currently has over 100 chapters across North America. NAYGN provides opportunities for a young generation of nuclear enthusiasts to develop strong leadership and professional skills, create life-long connections, engage and inform the public, and inspire today's nuclear technology professionals to meet the challenges of the 21st century.
Matthew was awarded the NAYGN individual achievement award and during his role as president the NAYGN Durham chapter won the best NAYGN chapter in Canada. He is also a Young Energy Professional member with the Energy Council of Canada is currently a member of: Canadian Nuclear Society, CANDU Owners Group (COG) Environmental Qualification (EQ) working group, Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) External Flooding Technical Advisory Group, Society of United Professionals, and Women in Nuclear (WiN).
Matthew is a Professional Engineer in the province of Ontario and received his Bachelor of Engineering in Nuclear Engineering degree from University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT). He has over seven years of experience working at Ontario Power Generation at both the Darlington and Pickering nuclear generating stations.

Michael assumed responsibility for L3Harris' Power Systems and Simulation business' sales some 25 years ago. He and his team grew sales and market presence, establishing the company as the world leader in the delivery of nuclear power plant simulators. The globally envied Orchid® brand-the software that drives L3Harris' power plant simulators-was also developed under Michael's leadership.
He is supported by sales professionals, a proposal development team and sales representatives globally. As the head of business development, he is often involved with defining the company's technological needs/innovations.
Prior to his roles in marketing and business development, Michael held various positions in project management implementing both energy management and power plant simulator projects.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) degree from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada.

Michael began his career at Atomic Energy of Canada Limited in marketing, project financing and business development, primarily associated with Canada/U.S. electricity trade opportunities. Subsequently, he accepted a policy position with Natural Resources Canada, addressing the challenges of mine closures and resource-based communities, Aboriginal economic development and mining, and public mineral geoscience. For the past decade, he was the policy lead on natural disaster risk reduction and emergency management, with a focus on seismic and space weather hazards. The bulk of Michael's policy activities has involved the preparation of Federal Budget Proposals, Memoranda to Cabinet, and Treasury Board Submissions.
Michael has had a lengthy, parallel career in the volunteer sector, serving on a variety of Boards, including being President of a core-city, community association. Michael is fully addicted to his garden, devours books on archaeology and history, and enjoys a good sci-fi movie.
Prior to becoming the union's President on May 3, 2021, Michelle Johnston served as the Secretary- Treasurer from 2018-2021 and prior to that the Executive Vice President of Policy from 2013 to 2018. Ms. Johnston also serves in a number of other leadership capacities on various committees, including as a director of Electricity Human Resources Canada, the United Way Greater Toronto Community Impact Committee, the Society of United Professionals' Women's Committee, and, as a proud Métis woman, she is the executive sponsor of the Society's Indigenous Relations Committee. She actively participates on the Canadian Labour Congress' Human Rights Advisory Committee and their Indigenous Rights Working Group. For the past 34 years, Ms. Johnston has been involved in the electricity industry in Ontario.
In her capacity as Secretary-Treasurer, Ms. Johnston was responsible for providing leadership in all matters related to finance, administration, facilities management and organizing portfolios. In her role as President, Michelle builds on her past experience in lobbying the government as she assumes responsibility for the Society Government Relations and Regulatory Affairs programs. She has also taken the lead on strategic planning and governance oversight for the Society of United Professionals.
Ms. Johnston has an Honours BA in Psychology with a double minor in Sociology and Social Work from Laurentian University in Sudbury, Ontario. In her spare time Ms. Johnston dedicates her efforts to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada and CIBC Run for the Cure.
Milt Caplan is President of MZConsulting Inc., providing services based on more than 30 years' experience in the nuclear industry developing new-build nuclear projects from conception to project completion around the globe.
Experience includes overall project development, strategy formulation, business model development, economic assessment, costing and pricing, strategic partnering, project financing and contract negotiation. In 1987 Narinder joined Atomic Energy of Canada Ltd. as a Robotics engineer and implemented automated for nuclear inspection and maintenance. In 1990 he joined SPAR Aerospace as a senior engineer and worked on the design and configuration of multi- degree of freedom programmable manipulators to service the Space Station Freedom.
Narinder re-joined AECL in 1992 and became the manager of the development and test services and in 1996 Narinder was promoted to the position of Director of Inspection and Maintenance services group. During this time he was responsible for major projects at almost every Candu site in the world. In 2005 Narinder, as the Director, Retube Systems, was responsible for developing all the automated tooling from concept to commissioning for the refurbishing of the Candu 6 nuclear reactors.
In 2008 Narinder along with four partners created Promation Nuclear Ltd. and established Promation as a key nuclear supplier to the Canadian utilities.
In 2012 Narinder joined ATS Automation as the General Manager, Nuclear. ATS are now a leader in developing refurbishment and reactor inspection and maintenance tooling. Narinder is responsible for leading the nuclear division and continues to develop ATS as a world class nuclear services company.

Nigel Fonseca has been actively involved in the Nuclear industry for over 30 years. As Senior Vice President at Alithya, he is responsible for strategic growth within Ontario and Western Canada. A key part of that includes Alithya's Engineering and Digital Transformation practices within the nuclear industry. Prior to its acquisition by Alithya, Nigel was CEO of SWI, where his deep technical knowledge, and expert leadership played a key role in establishing SWI as a leader in software engineering for the nuclear industry.
Since 2015, Nigel has been an active and engaged member of the Board of the CNA participating on the Finance Committee since 2016 and the Executive Committee this past year. He has also served as a Board member for another member-based organization, TechConnex, since 2014 including the role of Chair. Pat Dalzell is the Head of Corporate Affair at Bruce Power, a role primarily focused on the development and growth of the corporate identity through government and stakeholder engagement; corporate and community communications; and promoting areas of energy innovation and the use of nuclear isotopes in the fight against cancer. Previous to this, he held the role of Director of Government and Stakeholder relations coordinating partnerships with all levels of government along with key member associations, economic development groups, the electricity system operator and labour representatives.
Pat started his career at Bruce Power in 2011 as a Senior Financial Trader where he worked on the Geographic Diversification Initiative to develop new trading strategies and optimize regional diversification. In 2015, he embarked on a new position with Bruce Power working alongside the Chief Investment Officer helping to oversee the investment and risk management of Bruce Power's defined benefit pension plan. Prior to working for Bruce Power, Patrick worked as a hedge fund derivatives trader at Aquilon Power.

Ross Galbraith joined the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) in 1992 when he started work in the Health Physics department of NB Power's Point Lepreau Nuclear Generating Station (PLNGS). He subsequently started working full-time for his IBEW local in 1996 and was the Business Manager of IBEW Local 37, between 2006 and 2021. Local 37 is a utility local with 2,500 members, including 900 employed at PLNGS. In April 2021 he stepped down from the role of Business Manager in order to accept a role as International Representative with the IBEW.

Stephane Leduc is an accomplished executive leading CCN one of the most experienced and innovative firms in Quebec offering solutions to the nuclear industry. He is a graduate in Electrical Engineering with a solid trajectory directing multidisciplinary project teams and managing Engineering companies in the Industrial and Nuclear Sectors. From 2000 to 2008, he was an associate at Hatch, where he coordinated the engineering of all the projects executed at the seven Alcoa's Northeast region plants, leading a team of 150 engineers and technicians, and managing a budget of over $ 100 million. In 2008, he joined the Engineering firm Cegertec, where he successively held the positions of Vice President Development and then CEO. In 2010 he started a nuclear division within Cegertec with the perspective to first support the Gentilly 2 refurbishment program and then expand it to the Canadian nuclear market.
As a result of the success of the nuclear division, Mr. Leduc managed the spinoff of the nuclear division to create CCNuclear, known today has CCN. Mr. Clochard brings global experience in major project management, leading and restructuring businesses, civil works design, engineering and construction, project controls, contracts and claims management.
Prior to joining Aecon, Mr. Clochard held leadership roles at Eiffage Canada, including Director of Operations, and most recently served as Chief Executive Officer where he was responsible for defining and implementing a long-term Canadian strategy including the diversification and growth trajectory of the organization. Victoria has provided regulatory, policy and government relations advice to key public and private entities through her consulting firm; adjudicated energy regulatory applications, as a member of the Ontario Energy Board; lead key energy and environmental files as Senior Advisor at the Canadian Electricity Association; and began her career in the sector as an advisor on energy efficiency and conservation for BC Hydro's Power Smart Program.

Vik Tathe is Vice President of Business Development for EnergySolutions Canada. Vik joined EnergySolutions in 2008 as Operations and Logistics Manager responsible for operations of the ESWO facility. Vik has worked in the nuclear industry for nearly 20 years and began his career as a Radiation Technician with Monserco, Ltd, acquired by EnergySolutions in 2008. Currently Vik is responsible for business development, strategic market growth initiatives and client relations in Canada.
Additional Management responsibilities for Vik include Operations & Logistics Manager, Business Development Manager and head of radiological operations. His strengths include an ability to identify opportunities for business development, negotiating contracts, operating managing project teams and overseeing the delivery of large projects.
