The Community Opportunity Center is a non-profit organization in Michigan that enhances the lives of people with developmental disabilities by providing quality housing opportunities and comprehensive support... COC was founded in 1965 by a group of leading family members and advocates in an effort to enhance community opportunities for persons with developmental disabilities living in Western Wayne County. Today, COC supports more than 20 homes, condominiums, and apartments in the communities of Livonia, Plymouth, Redford and Garden City... Our mission is to provide quality housing and comprehensive support for people with developmental disabilities and to provide assistance and advocacy that helps them become independent and involved citizens in their communities.
