Bhavya Gupta

Bhavya is the Programme Associate at Community Business India. She is responsible for supporting the programmes, campaigns and research projects in India. Prior to Community Business, Bhavya worked as Social Impact Manager in a volunteer-based organisation called U&I. She designed and implemented various short-term volunteering programs in multiple sectors like environment, education, disability etc. Bhavya has finished her post-graduation in Social Work, specialising in Disability Studies and Action from Tata Institute of Social Science, Mumbai. She is fluent in English, Hindi and Bengali. She uses She/Her pronouns.

Catherine Husted - Chairman

Catherine is a former Allen & Overy Partner, who worked in the firm's London and Hong Kong offices for over 20 years advising on a wide variety of finance-related matters. She was heavily involved in the firm's social responsibility and pro bono activities, as the Hong Kong office Pro Bono Partner and a member of the firm's Global Foundation Executive. Catherine also led a number of initiatives relating to the mentoring and training of staff across all aspects of their work. Catherine is an Ambassador for Crossroads Foundation, Board Vice Chair of The Zubin Foundation and has a consulting role with Allen & Overy as Head of Social Impact, Hong Kong. Catherine has been involved with Community Business Limited since its inception, providing pro bono legal services and signing up Allen & Overy as the first member of Community Business. She held the position of Deputy Chair of the Community Business Leadership Team from January 2005 to March 2012. Catherine was invited to be part of the Board of Directors of Community Business in January 2011 and was appointed Board Chair in September 2022. Catherine is involved in projects supporting access to justice and rule of law in a number of areas, including helping displaced people, fighting online child exploitation and human trafficking, and supporting migrant workers. At Allen & Overy, she is able to bring together teams of lawyers, professional support staff, alumni and clients to share their knowledge and experience on international projects, as well as focusing on local communities. In her broader work in the NGO community, Catherine encourages collaboration between a range of diverse stakeholders to bring new and original ways of thinking to the challenges faced by those seeking access to justice and to address a broad range of social needs.

Chris Mack

Chris is the Programme Manager at Community Business, managing our Wellbeing portfolio. He is in charge of creating a holistic wellbeing offering for our clients with a focus on solutions that are created with the 'Whole Person' Model in mind. Through his work, the programme will identify wellbeing priorities for clients and align them with ESG and United Nations Sustainability Development Goals to ensure greater impact. Prior to Community Business, Chris worked as a Senior Practitioner and Team Leader at an online mental health service that focused on building and managing a team of mental health practitioners who are responsible for supporting clients all over the UK. He has also spent the last 10 years working and training within the mental health sector working with local government in the UK to further develop support for young people. Chris has also worked in non-profit organisations focusing on building small to medium size enterprises, helping many business owners improve their workforce and achieve their business goals. Chris has a Masters in Psychology and specialises in Behaviour Change with a specific focus on Motivational Interviewing and Functional Imagery Training. Chris is also a qualified Mental Health First Aider, the first responder in the workplace to any mental health needs as well as a Level 4 Designated Safeguarding Officer (DSO) responsible for working collaboratively with practitioners to ensure risk and safeguarding procedures are followed. Chris Ng

Chris Ng is the Programme Manager for the LGBT+ programme at Community Business. He is responsible for taking the leading Community Business' LGBT+ Campaign and managing activities relating to the programme. As the content expert on LGBT+ issues in Asia, Chris also provides consulting and training on LGBT+ inclusion related topics. Prior to Community Business, Chris served as the client service officer at a private mental health clinic at Kuala Lumpur which inspired him to focus on the mental health of LGBT+ during the COVID-19 pandemic in his undergraduate thesis which explored how increasing social support and mental resilience of sexual minorities promotes better mental health and reduces depression. He presented his findings at the 5th China International Conference on Positive Psychology organised by Tsing Hua University. His master's research focused on the "Roof" Project in Malaysia to create a centre for Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion (DE&I). Chris has 5 years of experience volunteering as a minister in LGBT+ affirming churches and Christian NGOs in Malaysia, Hong Kong and China. He also leads support groups, engages in interfaith dialogue and facilitates workshops and training. He provides guidance around the topic of reconciling faith with sexuality and strives to tackle inequality and promote diversity and inclusion among spiritual communities, as well as encourage spiritual and mental wellbeing in the community. Chris holds a Master of Arts in Christian Studies from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Psychology from Southwest University of Science and Technology. Chris is a proud Malaysian based in Hong Kong who is fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Malay. Chris uses he/they pronouns.

Dimuthu de Silva

Dimuthu de Silva is the Head of Consulting & Training at Community Business. He is responsible for consulting, training design and delivery, client relationship management and the daily operations of the C&T team. Prior to joining Community Business, Dimuthu was a consultant in Learning & Development and HR, with over 12 years in banking, financial technology, KPO and BPO, hotels & tourism and education industries. He has experience in end-to-end learning design and delivery, HR systems delivery, general consultancy and policy development around people, culture and organisational development. He is also an active researcher in social inclusion, representation and participation of marginalised communities and speaks at conferences and forums frequently. Dimuthu was born and raised in Sri Lanka and completed his higher education in Malaysia. He has worked in Sri Lanka and the South Asian and APAC region on assignments. He has been passionate about diversity and inclusion from a young age, as well as early career years at HSBC, with Employee Resource groups and D&I initiatives. Dimuthu has an MBA in International Business from Anglia Ruskin University, MSc in International Development Management from University of Nottingham and also, a certified TESOL/TEFL trainer. He is also an accredited DiSC trainer from Wiley and Sons, USA. He is a member of and a Senior Certified Professional from the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM - SCP), USA and also an Associate Member of Association of Human Resource Professionals (AHRP), Sri Lanka. Kishore Sakhrani

Kishore is a director at Greater Asian Advisors Ltd., a professional services firm in Hong Kong where he focuses on helping North American companies enter the Greater China Markets. Previously, he was a founding shareholder in the ICS group of companies, which were sold in 2012 to a Dutch based group. During his 22 years at ICS, his responsibilities included the management of their trade and commercial services divisions, as well as providing advice to a number of the firm's private clients on taxation, corporate structuring, accounting, regulatory and trust related matters. He has also successfully assisted a broad range of overseas clients in their Greater China expansion strategies. Prior to joining ICS, Kishore worked in the Leveraged Buyouts department at Citibank Canada and subsequently, in the Mergers & Acquisitions department at Burns Fry Limited. Kishore currently sits on the Board of the Richard Ivey School of Business in Hong Kong and he is also an advisor to the CEO of Hospital Advisor Ltd., a HK based social enterprise. Kishore is the past President of the Rotary Club of Hong Kong South and the former Chair of the Indian Resources Group. Kishore has been involved with Community Business since its inception, and was Board Chair from then until August 2022. Moneesha Shrivastav

Moneesha is a technical graduate with an MBA from Symbiosis and Psychology and a Certified D&I and a POSH trainer. She brings 14 years of diverse experience in project management, strategic planning, business development, operations and relationship management with B2B, B2C, state and central Government and Academia in India. As a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion lead, Moneesha has worked closely on the defining regional DEI messaging, best practices and ensure alignment with corporates. She has experience partnering with employer brand marketing to amplify the DEI strategy and initiatives, promote DEI thought leadership and ran campaigns to attract diverse talent. She has also conceptualised and worked on strategic planning for successful implementation and adoption technology specific learning development program at university level through launch of the FDP programs across state level.

Ms. Sandhya Manoj

Ms. Sandhya Manoj is responsible for Community Business' overall business strategy in India, with a mission to lead, inspire and support organisations and individuals to bring about positive impact and social change. The role is also to reinforce Community Business's position as a leader in responsible and inclusive business practices and differentiate our offering, particularly in the areas of diversity and inclusion and employee wellbeing. Prior to Community Business, Sandhya worked as CEO of Foundation For Excellence India Trust, an NGO and was responsible for all aspects of the Trust's operations in India, in addition to providing support to FFE-USA in certain areas. Her role was to guide overall strategy, finance, people development, new initiatives, and donor management. With experience of more than 30 years, Sandhya has worked both in large corporations, not for profit (NGO) and start-ups in the areas of sales, operations, HR, training and general management. She has built processes, worked with diverse teams, created organisation structures, work flow processes across departments besides creating a remote mentoring platform. In her earlier stint as founder of Teamworx Consulting, she was involved in hiring of senior talent and mentoring them. She has also worked as a consultant HR head to a VC firm, where she was involved with APD (Association of People with Disability), creating training modules leading to employment. She was also a highly successful sales manager for Monster.com in the earlier stages of her career. Sandhya is a certified trainer and a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) certified by the International Coach Federation. She is passionate about people development and has mentored or coached a number of youngsters. As a trained advanced facilitator, she has also been involved in building teams, especially with focus on customer orientation, bringing value to client organisations.

Paul Choi

Paul Choi is Managing Director and Group Head of Human Resources at the Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX), where he strategises and oversees all aspects of talent management practices, policies and operations for the organisation. He is a member of the HKEX management committee and reports to the Group CEO. Paul has over 30 years of international experience. Prior to joining HKEX, Paul was managing director in the Human Capital Management (HCM) division of Goldman Sachs in Asia and the Head of Goldman Sachs University and Talent Branding for Asia Pacific region. Paul worked at a number of multinational organizations including Accenture, JP Morgan and Industrial Bank of Japan in cities including Hong Kong, Shanghai, New York and London. Paul has been recognised with an "LGBT Inclusion Champion Award" by Community Business in 2016 for his thought leadership in driving LGBT inclusion in the workplace and advocating LGBT equality in the community. Paul has significantly contributed to winning the bid for Hong Kong to host International Gay Games in 2022. Paul is also a core member of Hong Kong Marriage Equality, and one of the Hong Kong Golden Circle members of Human Rights Watch. Shalini Mahtani - Founder

Shalini is the founder of Community Business Limited and the organisation's CEO until mid-2009. She has advised many companies on corporate social responsibility (CSR) in Asia, diversity and inclusion, work-life balance and corporate community investment. She has conducted extensive research and written numerous publications on these subjects and is a sought after speaker in Hong Kong and globally. Over the years, Shalini was awarded several accolades due to her work in these subjects. They include the "Chief Executives Commendation for Community Service" by the Hong Kong SAR Government in 2005, "Asia 21 Young Leader" by the United States' Asia Society and the "35 under 35" list by UK based World Business in 2007. In 2008, Shalini was awarded an MBE from Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II for services to CSR in Hong Kong. In 2009, she was honoured by the World Economic Forum as a Global Young Leader. In addition to Community Business, Shalini is the founder of The Zubin Foundation, a charity devoted to patient safety and quality of care in hospitals, racial integration and special education needs of local non-Chinese speakers. She is also founder of HospitalAdvisor, a social enterprise to empower patients with information and to celebrate hospitals that put patient care at the centre of their services.

Stephen Golden

Stephen Golden is the Head of Diversity and Inclusion for YouTube, based in the US. He works directly with YouTube's senior leadership and employee resource groups to ensure YouTube is the most inclusive company to work for. Stephen was previously the Asia Pacific Head of Diversity for Goldman Sachs, and was responsible for the diversity strategy and initiatives for Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, and Taiwan. Stephen's tremendous personal contributions have been recognised with a special ‘LGBT Trailblazer Award' by Community Business in 2015 for his pioneering work and thought leadership in LGBT workplace inclusion, and at the Hong Kong Women of Influence Awards in 2011 when he was given their inaugural award as the "Champion for the Advancement of Women". Stephen is on the International Advisory Board for MINGLE in India (Mission for Indian Gay & Lesbian Empowerment), a non-profit thinktank and advocacy group. He was previously on the Women on Boards Advisory Council in Hong Kong, and was the diversity advisor to the Pink Alliance in Hong Kong. Stephen was appointed as Board Director of Community Business in November 2016.

Yee Lin Ng

Well equipped with over 30 years of work and life experience, Yee Lin seeks to coach and motivate the next generation of thought leaders by enriching their personal growth and heightening their professional value. She is an PCC certified coach with many years of executive leadership experience. Prior to joining Community Business as a consultant in C&T, she was based in Shanghai for 10 years and worked in a creative agency in branding strategy and project management with global brands. Actively involved with ICF Singapore's Community of Practice for Team Coaching and Outreach & Coaching for Community, she holds a Mentor role with Asia Institute of Mentoring, Singapore Halogen Foundation's Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) and Hong Kong Kids4Kids' Action For A Cause. This is her path of giving forward and to build a highway of hope. She is most grateful to have a healthy mind, a healthy body and the opportunity to continue her passion in discovering the beauty of engagement and interpersonal relationships.
