In 1980 a team of Danish engineers saw the need to simplify the control of lighting, automate functionality and to reduce energy consumption and Conson was formed. To attain these goals the original Conson System was designed to be robust, reliable, modular, expandable and simple to install and program. It pioneered concepts like scene setting for people's homes and occupancy management for commercial spaces... In Australia thousands of projects have been completed; internationally thousands more.
