Dennis Faust

Drawing from his deep background in technology, Dennis creates the right technical solutions for projects ranging from large scale consumer and e-commerce sites to online payment systems, cloud-based infrastructure development, and social and mobile applications. His specialties include: Backend coding and system architectures Agile engineering processes, Certified Scrum Master Scalable systems using the cloud, Ruby, Rails, Java, Linux and OSS solutions 24x7 operations with secure, multi-tiered, highly scalable and available systems Prior to founding his consulting practice, Dennis led a broad range of in-house and offshore development teams as a coding CTO. Most recently, he was CTO and VP of Engineering for WorkingPoint, a SaaS provider of critical business functions including accounting, sales, CRM and inventory management for small businesses. Prior to that he created and hosted the Web sites and email management system for educational travel start-up Affinity Expeditions. He also served as VP of Engineering for online drugstore More.com, where he led a 70 person engineering organization handling 5000 transactions daily via a completely in-house developed e-commerce infrastructure. Dennis earned his B.S. in Finance from Florida State University

Ellen Sato

For more than two decades, Ellen has been providing companies with enhanced strategic insights, improved marketing results, and cost savings through the hands-on analysis of customer marketing data. She brings to her clients deep experience in customer analytics, financial modeling, and marketing strategy development. Prior to returning to her consulting roots, she was SVP of Strategy and Analytics at SolutionSet, a multichannel marketing agency acquired by Epsilon. Ellen began her career with Kestnbaum & Company, the pioneer in applying advanced analytical techniques for direct marketers. Subsequently, she was one of the first consultants in Epsilon's analytics practice, where she leveraged in-house customer databases to develop models and insights that fueled creative strategies for clients. Upon relocating to the Bay Area, Ellen headed up the Direct Response Marketing group at Oracle Corporation, where her team developed marketing and lead generation programs to support 13 business units selling database applications and services to businesses. During her career she has had the opportunity to work with clients from such diverse industries as high-tech, catalog/online retail, travel, automotive, and financial services. She earned her B.A. in Economics and M.B.A. in Marketing and Statistics from the University of Chicago.
