Dr Noushin's passion for helping childless couples which is inculcated from her mentor and father Dr Mohamed Ashraf, this passion made her to achieve the highest academic performance in the faculty of obstetrics and gynaecology by obtaining MRCOG form Royal College of UK and MRCPI from Royal College of Ireland, two globally prestigious institutions. She had completed her MSc. in Human Genetics (with special emphasis on Genetic Counseling and Prenatal Genetics) from Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute, Chennai in 2006 and did her MS in Bioinformatics and PhD. In Human Genetics from the distinguished University of Birmingham, United Kingdom (UK) in 2012. In addition, she had obtained a diploma in Genetic Counseling and Genetic Engineering and had visited Germany for a special course in Pre-Implantation Genetic Diagnosis. Previously, Dr. Ritu had worked as Chief Geneticist at Samad IVF Hospital, Trivandrum during 2006-2007 and as Geneticist and Genetic Counselor at NHS, United Kingdom (UK) during 2009-2012. She had also worked as Chief Medical Geneticist at BACC, Bangalore and at Dr. Kamini Rao's Hospital during 2012-2013.
