CRISIS LINE

The Crisis Line was established in 1988 in response to the significant number of teen suicides and suicide attempts. Today, and tens of thousands of calls later, we have grown into a crisis line that assists people of all age groups and from all walks of life... Our mission is to provide confidential and anonymous telephone support to people in distress and crisis, and to serve as a lifeline for positive change by connecting our clients to area resources and to give support and encouragement... We are the "someone" you can turn to when "nobody" understands or when "everyone" is too busy to listen. We provide a free, confidential, nonjudgmental, 24-hour crisis line to everyone in Aitkin, Cass, Crow Wing, Morrison, Todd and Wadena Counties. Dedicated caring volunteers are available to help you share your hurts and fears before they become a crisis, as well as to help those in crisis get help.
