I have been working as a translator/interpreter (Croatian<>English) since the late 1980s, professionally since 1992, covering the following areas, inter alia: legal, design and tender documents, reports, tenders and bills of quantities (construction, economy); scientific papers and studies (construction, economy, environmental sciences, agriculture, chemistry); user and quick guides, software localization (IT and communications technologies), meetings and conferences (construction, law, economy, ecology, sociology, culture, politics, military issues)..... In short, I have specialized in somewhat more demanding tasks. I always check and re-check my translations and furnish them within agreed deadlines. I should point out that I never work in a "robot mode", i.e. I never translate word-for-word, which is a guarantee for coherent and intended end results...
