There are websites out there that are just fiendish Virus/Trojans waiting to happen to you. It usually looks like your anti-virus program found a virus and immediately starts a scan. There are two problems with this ... First your anti-virus program will most likely just give a notification in the bottom right of the screen just above the clock. .. Second, a normal anti-virus program does not start scanning your computer based on finding a virus - it just stops it...
Best practice is just to close your browser windows and re-open explorer. And above all else DO NOT click on the button that says fix/scan/repair... or anything else. This just installs it and bypasses any real anti-virus software you may have.
