Jim has always been strongly driven by design and creativity. After working on office furniture design for almost 10 years, Jim joined Custom Iron in 2006. He heads up the team working on quotes, drawings, custom design, as well as new product development. He thrives on doing everything he can to ensure our customers find the right products to fit their project, helping them through all the details from start to finish, and making their experience as enjoyable as possible! When not working, Jim loves spending as much time as possible with his wife and 3 daughters as well as extended family. He enjoys going to a family cabin (maybe even catching a fish once in a while…), hiking, watching sci-fi movies, and listening to music all the time.

Robert quite literally grew up in the business. His father Terry started the company in 1975 and Robert has officially been with the company since 1989, officially taking over the business at the end of 2021. Robert has worked in a majority of the positions on the shop floor as well as in the office, spending time in each department to have a better understanding of products, processes, and opportunities for improvement while increasing his knowledge. When not working, Robert enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, watching his nephews play hockey, listening to music and watching movies, working on and driving his classic car, traveling, boating and fishing.

Tera has held several different design positions in various industries including medical, hydraulics, and even helping design the crane used at the Chernobyl nuclear reactor site. However, it is her work here that has allowed her to pursue her interest in Architectural design. As a quoting and design associate, she has been helping to create a design that satisfies your needs since 2021. Her time at home is spent tending to her chickens and working on a variety of refinishing and crafting projects. She enjoys music, and attending concerts when she can. Though these days her free time is usually consumed by her 3 boys and their many adventures.

After working in various specialized retail environments and gaining a diverse range of skills, experience and passion for management, customer service, sales, project planning and installation, Tonya joined Custom Iron in 2006. She is currently the Operations Manager responsible for overall management of Financial & Business Systems, Human Resources and Production. When not working, Tonya enjoys spending quality time with her husband and adult daughters, traveling, concerts and her cats. She is an avid BTS fan, enjoys many different hobbies such as quilting and painting and enjoys movies and k-dramas.
