In the framework of the Czech Republic, it co-operates with the Police and its specialized working places. For this activity, it is its position of an independent and objective national authority in the field of the state testing, which makes a basis for many special tests according to the Police's needs; it is creating the Police tender conditions and is one of the makers of legislative regulations, as laws etc. The Proof House is the only authorized body for transferring military and special technique in its region of activity to civil sphere. It is also an author of many Czech technical Standards and regulations providing laws, in co-operation with other State authorities. It closely co-operates with notified Proof Houses and takes part in creation of EU Standards in technical comities of the CEN/CENELEC.
