CVWD

CVWD was formed in 1918 by residents to protect and conserve local water sources. Since then, CVWD has grown into a multifaceted agency that delivers irrigation and domestic (drinking) water, collects and recycles wastewater, provides regional stormwater protection, replenishes the groundwater basin, and promotes water conservation... For more than 100 years, CVWD has been working to protect the water resources that are vital to a thriving Coachella Valley. To further that mission, CVWD employs a full-time Government Affairs Specialist as well as lobbyists in both Sacramento and Washington, D.C. to track policy and work on behalf of our customers.
