CMS was established from one persons desire, to change the way motorcycle enthusiasts shop for those essential and often difficult to locate spare parts. Founder and CEO of Consolidated Motor Spares, Mike Buttinger, cut his first deal at the tender age of just eleven years, with a Tomos moped bought as a basket case, rebuilt and then sold on. Wages from a delivery round allowed Mike to move up to a Honda C310, an early 'sporting ' classic step-through; his first experience of both Honda and four-stroke engineering principals. The Honda bug had bitten! From supplying and fitting C50 spares and tuning accessories as a teenager for local young riders, to buying inventories of NOS Honda spares, Mike went on a journey that culminated in the establishment of CMS in 1996. Since that time the Company, with a huge effort from Mike and the CMS team, has grown into the technical tour de force it is today...
