Linda joined our team in January 2016 and works primarily in the area of Wills and Estates.
Linda holds a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and a Bachelor of Arts in Classical History and is admitted to practice as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and South Australia.
Linda has been practising in the areas of Wills and Estates and Criminal Law for over 15 years. She has significant experience in making applications for Grants of Probate and Letters of Administration. Linda has acted in a wide variety of Estate matters including Estates requiring the administration and winding up of complex trusts, superannuation funds, and contested Estates.
Prior to being employed with Davoren Associates, Linda gained valuable experience in private practice in South Australia assisting clients with Wills and Estates, Estate Disputes, Guardianship Tribunal Applications, Criminal and Traffic Law and Compensation Law. Linda has also worked as a Lecturer and Tutor of Business Law at the University of South Australia.
Linda's broad range of experience and understanding of the pressures that are often involved in interactions with the legal process have equipped her with the ability to quickly identify legal issues and deal with their resolution in an efficient and sensitive manner.

Michael is an experienced Gold Coast Solicitor who has been employed with Davoren Associates since 1990. In 1997 he was appointed Director and has over 25 years experience in handling client's legal requirements.
Michael is a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and practises in the areas of Property Law, Commercial Law, Wills & Estates, Drink Driving, Traffic Law and Litigation. Michael regularly appears in the Brisbane and Southport Courts on police matters and various litigation matters.
Michael was employed with Davoren Associates in 1990. In 1997 he was appointed Director and has in excess of 25 years experience in handling client's legal requirements.
Michael has practised extensively as a Conveyancing Lawyer and Commercial Lawyer over the past 25 years and has developed a large profile of clients in South East Queensland.
The experience developed during these years has enabled Michael to obtain the most cost-effective outcomes and results for his clients.

Steve Davoren is the Principal and founding Director of Davoren Associates.
The firm was founded in 1978 and has grown over the years to cover many areas of law including Commercial Litigation, Conveyancing, Criminal Law, Wills & Estates and Securities Law to name just a few. He has been practising law since 1978 and oversees the operation of the entire firm with the help of long-standing support staff.
Steve is a member of the Queensland Law Society. He has extensive professional experience as a Gold Coast Solicitor in the areas of Property Law, Corporate Law, Building & Construction Law, Securities and Mortgage Investment. He is the Managing Director of Assured Management Limited, a Responsible Entity and Licensed Securities Dealer under the Managed Investments Act and also holds a Diploma in Financial Services.
Steve has lived on the Gold Coast with his family all his life and enjoys an active involvement with the Kurrawa Surf Life Saving Club and the Gold Coast Turf Club. He is the Honorary Solicitor for the Kurrawa Surf Life Saving Club and the Former President of The Carbine Club of Queensland which supports and raises much-needed funds and assistance for Junior Sport.
Steve enjoys a wonderful relationship with staff and clients and this is shown through his long-standing relationships with many loyal clients and employees. Always approachable, Steve is readily available to discuss any legal queries you may have.
