Anita Scribner spent her childhood in Wills Point, Texas, aside from one year in northern Italy as a foreign exchange student. She attended the University of Texas and received a BA in Anthropology. She subsequently obtained a Masters in Public Health from University of Texas Health Science Center - Houston. She completed her Medical Degree at University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She went to Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis for Internal Medicine residency then University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center for her fellowship in Infectious Diseases. She joined Diagnostic Clinic of Longview in 1999 and has served continuously as an infectious diseases consultant at both Longview Regional Medical Center and Good Shepherd. She holds board certifications in both Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. She has been a physician at Special Health Resources since 2002 and now serves as Chief Medical Officer. She married Ray Scribner in 1987 and they have seven children. Her hobbies include traveling, hiking, and bicycling. She has been a volunteer with Diakonia Compassionate Ministries in Kisumu, Kenya since 2005.
David Davis graduated in 2011 Summa Cum Laude from Stephen F. Austin in Nacogdoches, TX with a Bachelors of Science and minor in Kinesiology. David worked as a physical therapy technician during his transition from undergraduate to graduate school. David graduated from Texas State University in San Marcos, TX in 2015 with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
David and his wife, Hillary have two children and reside in Longview. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends, traveling, hunting, fishing and most sports.
David is passionate about his career in physical therapy. Following research and evidence-based practice, he looks forward to caring for his community.
Donna Davis, M.D., is an East Texas native from Harleton. She attended Texas Tech University School of Medicine in Lubbock, TX and completed her Pediatric Residency at Texas A&M, Scott and White Memorial Hospital. Before joining the Diagnostic Clinic of Longview, Dr. Davis was one of the founders of Premier Pediatrics in Longview. Dr. Davis married her husband, Charles, in 1998 and they have two daughters.
Elizabeth Tidwell, M.D. is an OBGYN specialist trained in all aspects of women's health. She has a medical degree from the University of Missouri and completed OBGYN residency at Baylor Scott & White hospital in Temple, TX. Her passion is caring for patients in the same way she would want her family treated. She enjoys spending time with her husband, two sons, and two dogs. They love boating, fishing, and traveling - especially to tropical locations!
James Sawyer, M.D., FACP, specializes in general Internal Medicine. He has been practicing in Longview since 1982 and has been a partner in Diagnostic Clinic of Longview since 1996. He received his medical degree from the University of Alabama in Birmingham and he completed an internal medicine residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. Dr. Sawyer is board-certified in Internal Medicine, a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and a past Board of Directors member for the Texas chapter. He is also a past president of the local chapter of the Texas Academy of Internal Medicine.
Jeffrey Hart, M.D., is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston where he was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society. He completed his internship and residency training at Baylor Scott & White in Temple, TX. He is a member of the American College of Physicians and Texas Medical Association. Dr. Hart is married to a Longview native and has two children.
Kathleen Harris M.D., Board Certified in Internal Medicine, returned home to Longview and joined and joined the Diagnostic Clinic in 2008. She loves caring for the people of East Texas. Dr. Harris enjoys spending her free time with her husband, Thomas, and children Benjamin and Katherine.
