Deaf Literacy Initiative is a non-profit organization that supports and promotes Deaf and Deaf-Blind literacy in Ontario. Created in 1991, DLI is funded by the Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Development to provide training, research, networking and resources to Ontario's Deaf stream literacy service providers... Deaf Literacy Initiative is Ontario's umbrella organization for literacy in the Deaf and Deaf-Blind community. Our services are accessible and culturally appropriate and include: training, research, networking, and resources.
