DeClercq's Theatrical Specialties, Inc. is a product of modern day technology and old fashioned ingenuity. Two very inquisitive brothers, Joe and Paul DeClercq lived next door to Jack Craig, owner of Oakland United Studios. Jack had been around theatre since the "old days" as a ticket taker for United Artists and eventually moved up from there into his own company fabricating, repairing and maintaining theatre drapery, rigging and hardware... DeClercq's Theatrical Specialties, Inc. began operations in 1987. We have established ourselves as a reputable theatre rigging and maintenance company... In May of 1992, we acquired Oakland United Studios as an affiliate rigging company. With over 30 years in the theatre industry, its reputation speaks for itself.
