Dr. DeFilippo was born and raised in New Haven, Connecticut. After graduating from The Hopkins School in 1975 he attended Georgetown University. There he received a Bachelors of Science degree in biology and membership into the Sigma Xi Honor Society. In 1984 he graduated from Georgetown University School of Dentistry. After a four-year association with a group practice in Willimantic, Dr. DeFilippo now practices in Wethersfield. He and his wife, Stephanie, live in Glastonbury with their two children.

Dr. Rushin is a native of Jamestown, New York. He attended the State University of New York at Albany where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. He attended Georgetown University School of Dentistry and graduated in 1984 with honors. In 1985, Dr. Rushin completed a General Practice Residency at Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Rushin joined Dental Associates of Wethersfield in 1987 after a two-year association with a group practice in Cromwell. He currently resides in East Hampton with his wife Diane and their two children.
