DHM was founded in 1975 in Denver. Since then, we have opened studios in Carbondale and Durango, Colorado, and Bozeman, Montana. Our work expanded throughout the west and beyond. Today, we plan and design recreational spaces, National Parks, residential communities, resorts and hospitality, cultural landscapes, civic spaces, tribal lands, legacy ranches, high-end residences and land trusts... DHM Design is passionate about the integration of design and ecology. Our staff is dedicated to creating sites that are balanced with the local ecosystem. Our team includes experienced experts in wetlands ecology, wildlife biology, soils science, invasive plant management, GIS data analysis, and environmental compliance. Staff members are seasoned in navigating environmental regulations and have strong relationships with local and federal regulatory delays.
