Amin Sons originated as a research oriented organization in 1976 in Pakistan. Up till now it is the only organization in PAKISTAN that is researching and manufacturing in the field of dental amalgam alloys. Untill 1988 Amin Sons remained a research based organization when DENTOFIL - FINE GRAIN, the conventional dental amalgam alloy was marketed in Pakistan for the first time... Chemists and metallurgists started Amin Sons by considering the fact that not a single indigenous dental amalgam alloy was available in the market. Dental amalgam alloys, being a field of pure metallurgy, forced them to carry out research in this field.
