Carly L. Griffies

Carly L. Griffies, PA-C, MPAS is a board certified provider from Newnan, Georgia. She completed her Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Augusta University in 2021. Prior to attending Augusta University, Carly graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor's Degree in Nutritional Sciences. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, and Georgia Dermatology Physician Assistants. Prior to joining Dermatology Specialists of Augusta, Carly practiced Dermatology in South Carolina. Carly's favorite thing about dermatology is her ability to treat the body's largest organ... the skin! She enjoys caring for patients of all ages, performs various procedures, and encourages routine skin cancer screenings. When she is not working, Carly enjoys cooking new recipes, walking her chocolate lab on the Greeneway Trail, and cheering on the Georgia Bulldawgs in the fall.

Dr. Sanders Callaway

Dr. Sanders Callaway is a native of Georgia. He was raised in Statesboro and after completing his undergraduate degree at Georgia Southern University, began his medical career at the Medical College of Georgia. He graduated from MCG as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. After medical school he completed a one- year internship in Internal Medicine and a three-year Dermatology Residency both at MCG. From there, he joined the staff at the Dermatology Center of Atlanta. With a desire to open his own practice, Dr. Callaway felt the warmth and charm of Augusta would be the perfect location to do so. Dr. Callaway is a resident of Columbia County and is married to his college sweetheart, Dana. They have two children, Patty and Wesley.

Kenneth R. Johnson

Kenneth R. Johnson, PA-C, MPAS was raised in Morgantown, West Virginia. After spending 13 years in the United States Army, he attended the Medical College of Georgia. He received a Master of Physician Assistant studies from MCG. Ken is Board Certified by the National Board on Certification of Physician Assistants. Ken comes to us with a decorated military career serving as a medic in the US Army Special Forces. As a Green Beret, Ken gained extensive medical knowledge while working abroad in Cuba, Germany, Italy, Afghanistan and Iraq, always seeking new ways to challenge his medical knowledge. While serving in the military he developed a great interest in skin disease and felt his calling to work in dermatology after completing the Physician Assistant program. Ken resides in Columbia County, Georgia with his wife April and daughters Alexandria and Charlotte. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family. You might find him on the weekends bicycling or running the Augusta Canal. He looks forward to meeting you and caring for your needs.
