Established in August 2005 with the sole purpose of fostering the interests and addressing the concerns of the Sri Lankan mould and die making industry... Industrial policy in Sri Lanka has been designed with a view to address key challenges and issues faced by large, medium and small scale enterprises and also micro-industries and place them in a higher growth path. Die & Mould manufacturing has been considered as the mother industry of the manufacturing sector and the Ministry of Industry & Commerce has decided to setup a facilitation centre to cater the related services and thereby assist the development of the die & mould making sector.
