Mr. Childs joined Directed Capital in 2008. He oversees the team responsible for deal sourcing, underwriting, valuation and execution of new opportunities. In addition, Mr. Childs is actively involved in broader administration of the company, including strategy, organizational development and capital formation. In prior roles with the Company, Mr. Childs has worked across the platform including financial analysis and asset management.
Mr. Childs received his Master of Science in Management and Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Florida and Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of South Florida - St. Petersburg. He is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive).

Chris Moench is the Chief Executive Officer of Directed Capital, which he founded in 2001. Directed Capital is a nationally recognized private equity and real estate finance firm headquartered in downtown St. Petersburg, with satellite offices in San Diego, Pittsburgh, and Boston. His responsibilities include strategic oversight of the company's operations: asset acquisition, asset management, capital formation, and administration. Since inception in 2001 and under Mr. Moench's leadership, Directed Capital has acquired and originated more than $2.0 billion in commercial real estate assets.
Mr. Moench's decades long experience in mortgage acquisitions, workouts, real estate development and investment makes him a well-known and well-respected player among his peers. He received a BA in Economics from Furman University, an MBA from Emory University, holds a FL Real Estate Broker's License, a FL Mortgage Broker's License and is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive). He brings proven leadership to the Directed Capital team developed through his many years of industry specific experience. He started his career as a certified public accountant/tax specialist with Arthur Andersen & Company followed by several years as principal of a multifamily development enterprise. During the
early 1990s, he joined a mortgage investment banking firm as investment manager for underperforming commercial mortgage debt. In this capacity, he was responsible for all aspects of a substantial portfolio of distressed mortgage-backed loans acquired in the secondary market and originated loans for a variety of asset classes.
In 2013, Mr. Moench and a group of investors recapitalized St. Petersburg based Freedom Bank, where he served as Vice Chair of Fourth Street Banking Company (the holding company) and served as Chair of the Audit Committee and member of the Executive and Loan Committees. During this period, the bank's assets increased by 400% and was sold to Seacoast Bank in 2020. He also previously served as Chairman of Board of Resurrection House, Director of a regional property and casualty insurance company and Advisory Board member of Tampa Bay Watch.
Mr. Moench currently serves on the Seacoast Bank Pinellas Community Board, the Board of Directors of the St. Petersburg YMCA and is an active member of the CEO Council of Tampa Bay and C12 (a Christian leadership organization). He also participates in numerous local charitable endeavors.

Mr. McGinn joined Directed Capital in 2006. He manages the Company's portfolio management and loan servicing activities. In addition to oversight of the day to day administration of the assets, Mr. McGinn oversees the portfolio management team's development and implementation of asset resolution strategies for the loan and real estate portfolio and ensures the team delivers exemplary service to borrowers.
Prior to joining Directed Capital, Mr. McGinn was Senior Vice President and Loan Portfolio Manager with Wells Fargo Foothill, Inc., Lender Finance Division in Dallas and with the Wells Fargo Foothill, Inc., Commercial Finance Division in Boston. Prior to that he was a Team Leader with the middle-market asset based lending unit of US Trust in Boston and the head of special assets for First City Bank in McAllen, TX. He has 40 years of banking experience in commercial real estate and asset based lending, credit administration, loan portfolio management and special asset administration.
Mr. McGinn received his Post Graduate Degree in Banking from Southern Methodist University and Bachelor of Arts from Loyola University.

Mr. Griffin joined Directed Capital in 2010 and is charged with the formation and development of private equity partnerships including investment structuring, cash flow modeling, raising of capital, investor relationship management, and investor reporting. He further works to develop alternative debt and equity financing to fill partnership and corporate needs.
Prior to joining Directed Capital in 2010, Mr. Griffin served as the CFO for Arx Holding Corp., the parent of a large multi-state insurance company with over $600 million in revenue. Prior to that, Mr. Griffin was the CFO of United Insurance Holdings Corp. (Nasdaq: UIHC), the parent of a Florida based insurance company, where he worked for over 10 years. Mr. Griffin has experience with the capital markets as well as significant experience with financial modeling and risk management.
Mr. Griffin is an attorney and member of the Florida Bar. He received his B.S. in Accounting from the University of Florida, M.B.A from Stetson University, J.D. from Stetson College of Law, and holds a Florida Insurance Agent License. Mr. Griffin serves on the Board of Trustees and Executive and Audit Committees of Catholic Charities for the Diocese of St. Petersburg, and the Board of Directors for Community Law Program, the Board of Directors for Sing Out and Read, Regional Director of PlaySmart, Inc., tutor for Lawyers for Literacy, and Parliamentarian for the Lakewood Jr. Spartans. He also serves as a Guardian Ad Litem for the Sixth Judicial Circuit.
